Here in Australia, what would be classified as a squash in the USA, such as spaghetti or banana squash, is ALL classified as 'pumpkin' here.

Spaghetti is classified as pumpkin there? I've never thought of noodles in tomato sauce as being even remotely tied in to pumpkin. I'm sure the Italians aren't too happy about that.

Either way it's bad stuff. I have found that going heavy on the Redi-Whip makes pumpkin pie slightly palatable. Currently, I'm trending toward lemon meringue or possibly cheery. Apple pie is always scrumptious. :)
