All I have to do is submit this to ADA, and if they decided to take action then maybe they will, or they won't, and, but I was told to report to ADA everything if I do not received an interpreter from anywhere.
Why do you think all Television has close caption, and all Cable company must have close caption, net flix, and even google have to have close caption?
They have all this because of ADA, and it's not a threat it's a facts.
If I do not get a no mic room, and if everybody is discriminated the deaf, and if I feel left out, and hopeless then my chance is with the ADA, and why should I fight if nobody is gonna help the deaf, and discriminated when all I have to do is report to ADA?
They have clearly said they have made a no mic room, and they disable it because nobody go in that room, and if they can do it then why don't they put it back up there instead of risking ADA?

So far there is two people post in here that wanted a no mic room. One is a hearing person that doesn't like to hear people, and there is one deaf which is me, and just having a no mic room is just for the handicap it should always be there anyway to prevent ADA, and discrimination, and it will act like an handicap parking.
If two people want it then I am sure more will want it, and maybe your room didn't have a lot of people, and your chat site is very popular, and I'm sure more will join in included myself.

Don't use me to make your case. Just because I said I understood where you were coming from does not mean I am an advocate for it. Honestly, when it comes to making a case legally against the site, I don't think you have a leg to stand on. They offer chatting for those who are deaf via the keyboard. It would be one thing if it were a mic only Room, but it's not. If anything, I would say having a no mic room just for deaf people is not equality. Equality is making it so deaf and hearing can interact together.

While I can understand the Original Poster's plight, I'm not sure if he is aware that the owner of this site does not live in the USA, and therefore, I'm not sure if CC is registered as an American site?
Therefore, if it is not, would it still be subject to American laws, such at the American Disability Act? I would guess not.
But I don't know, so I'll be very interested in hearing the outcome--I've always wondered how online businesses such as this handle such situations, especially when serving a worldwide community and multiple countries with varying regulations.

People who are of hearing can mute or turn off their speakers if they don't wish to hear who is on the mike.
Deaf people can't hear who's on the mike anyway, so how would sitting in an empty room be any different from being in a room with a mike?

There is an old saying that you get more bees with honey than vinegar. Unfortunately for yourself all you're doing is spraying vinegar nonstop with constant threats of lawsuits to the extent of even threatening a private party unaffiliated with site management with an ADA suit.
There won't be any vinegar when they see a 55,000 dollar fine, and this shard being shut down due to bankruptcy lol.

I don't want to do it, but I've done it before once a cop took me to jail for no reason, and threat to throw me in a chair, and I called ADA, and they really messed up the city police, and they never messed with me again.
The police they pulled me over 3 time after ADA came, and I told them who I was, and they let me go three time after.

Well, you're willing to sit in an EMPTY room just to get away from the people on mike, whom you can't hear anyway, sooo... 
You can converse just fine with people in chat, simply by posting. Since you can't hear people on mike, that aspect of it shouldn't bother you at all..

Why not it's not fair to ask for interpreter every time I want to hear something, and yes I much rather be in a room that have mic turned off.
Has it occurred to you that this is not an "American" site, and that the ADA has no jurisdiction? Man up, and take responsibility for yourself. You can tell people you're deaf. Some people prefer to talk rather than write. You aren't going to change their preferences.

The site owner is in the Philippines, so this site most likely isn't in the USA.. As Dino said, the ADA has no jurisdiction beyond the U.S.

Even if US law did have jurisdiction the rooms would be considered to be ADA compliant since there is the option for either voice or text chat. Voice chat allows blind persons who cannot read text to participate and text chat allows for deaf and mute to participate.
Unfortunately the OP strikes me as one who is not so much concerned with ADA compliance as it is that he wants special treatment which if we set up a text only room then we would have to also set up a voice only room for blind persons and then we would have both groups complaining that no one is using their "special" rooms and threatening to file suits for segregating them.
Back when we still had a text only room (originally all of our rooms were text only) no one used it and of course the couple of users that liked it constantly griped that no one else would join them in that room. Even if we supplied the room, we cannot force other users who don't want it to use it.
Sure, it would be nice to provide additional services for disabled persons but when a site operates on a highly limited budget it isn't possible. Our chat is custom coded and to create a room with special parameters takes time and money that would be much better used in other ways.
In case someone thinks that I am in some way prejudiced against the handicapped or have no heart, my brother-in-law is blind and my wife is also disabled. I am more than aware of and care deeply for the needs of the disabled.
