Geesh........He did not preach in HADES as he told the thief clearly that they would be in Paradise, Abraham's BOSOM which was the holding area of the SAVED until Christ resurrected and took CAPTIVITY with HIM.......
On what basis were they already saved before Christ said, "It is finished."?
I'm not questioning that they were, just asking on what basis.

And yet this prophecy in Daniel suggest that not all in the second resurrection are condemned.

Dan. 12:2 "And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt."

Rev. 20:5 'But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.'

Rev. 20:11-13 "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works."
I repeat what I stated before. Very near the end of Daniel it twice states that the book is closed until the end times. Are you saying this is the end times?

Faith is faith and in God's eyes the deed was already done......David speaks of his salvation in the present tense in the Psalms under inspiration which is impossible if he was not saved......

Much of Daniel's prophecy's have occurred already. Daniel is also the key to the Book of Revelation and Revelation is left unsealed.
Remember too that God does not reckon time as we do. John 7:1-13

Revelation 22:10-11 And he said unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Daniel 12:4-9
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Simple. God knew the end from the beginning. When he set creation into motion he made the solar system have eclipses. Eclipses have condemned countries in history. When an eclipse has gone across a nation that nation that nation was condemned and suffered accordingly. God knew who would and who wouldn't believe and act on that belief.

This shows the awesome power of God!!

We had an eclipse cross the US from east to west. We will in 2024 have an eclipse cross from northeast to southwest crossing 7 cities named Salem. This was set in motion at creation. The awesome foreknowledge to accomplish this is astounding demonstrating His knowledge of the future.

That could be inferred to support Universalism don't you think? Revelation 13:8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast -- all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world. (NIV)

A Call to Holiness
1 Peter 1:18-20 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. (NIV)

John 1:29The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! "

I disagree with the term "much". I agree with some since we are looking back at history. Those things that happened and are in Daniel are easy to see. The statue is an example. The rest is just speculation. You even quote it is sealed until end times. So I ask again are you saying this is end times?

You aren't asking me that question again. I jumped into the discussion you were having with Deade whom you asked that of , "again".
Just to be clear.
You disagree with the term, "much".
How many prophecies are contained in Daniel's book?

Yes, I believe we are in a downward spiral headed for Armageddon. We have already speculated the downfall of the USA. What do you suppose will happen to the rest of the world then? Every despot will rear his ugly head and try to oppress their people. The power vacuum will cause the bigger countries vie for world domination. I think the Lord will have to intervene before the nuclear powers destroy all life on earth.

What's the point of sending a missionary to someone that already has the spirit? What's that person going to do that the spirit can't already do
Who said they had the spirit? I never said that..

You seem to be fishing man..

Why do you want universalism to be true?

There are many heretical concepts floating around. Universalism is just one. The creeds were created from 212 to 500 and define the beliefs a Christian must have. The elders creating them stated 3 things.
1. They define what a Christian must believe.
2. Anything contrary is heretical.
3. Any Biblical issue outside the creeds is agree to disagree.

Thus we have many gospel preaching denominations. They have distinctives about which they disagree.

I agree with the downward spiral. Understanding the politics of the many nations around which the eschatologyical actions are to take place it is evident that progress towards Armageddon is happening. The big question is how soon. If Russia sends troops to aid Palestinians to conquer Israel then it will signal Armageddon. But will that happen soon? We will have to wait to see!

That's giving a lot of power to mortal men long after Christ returned to the Father.
What power do "elders" have 212 to 500 years after the universal elder returned home having given his covenant and sealing it in blood?

They define what a Christian must have ? Must?
Anything contrary is heretical? If you're a Protestant at one time "the church" deemed your faith and practice heresy. And they'd also kill you for that.
Which came first? The Word? Or, the creeds?

Did you bother to read the creeds? Did you bother to look up the history of their creation? Did you bother to look up what the elders creating them said about them? You along with others ignore the history and reasons for their creation. You have the 21 century concept. Back then Bibles were very expensive and rare. A scribe would work months to create a copy of the Bible. Due to the rarity of books people back then committed a lot of information to memory. Creeds and selected verses of the Bible was how the gospel message was passed to others. This was the method of evangelism. You need to understand how it was back then as opposed to today the plentiful books because of the printing press!!

I get very tired of people spouting off in ignorance. People need to do a bit of research before putting their foot in their mouth.
