The End of a Nation

God is consistent....His way of dealing with men, families, nations etc. remains consistently the same based upon his Holy nature and character. For example, when the Northern Kingdom of Israel has sold itself out to pure idolatry God moved against it and destroyed it while using the Assyrians. This is exactly why Jonah did not want to preach to Nineveh, because he knew the prophecies and understood that if Nineveh repented, God would spare them and then use them to destroy the Northern Kingdom. Nineveh was the capital of Assyria....

Fast forward a little over a century and a half, after numerous warning from history and a call to look North and learn a lesson from history, God finally moves against the Southern Kingdom of JUDAH due to spiritual adultery and brings another chapter of history to a close with the Babylonians marching across the land. After three subsequent invasions and a siege that resulted in cannibalism God decimates Southern Kingdom of JUDAH and it is not until some 2,484 years later that Israel is reborn as a nation and recognized in the world as a "STATE"......

What does this have to do with the OP you might ask......or not......

The following verses testify to what GOD would do to this NATION before HE JUDGED JUDAH........and I find it interesting that the same thing is happening to the U.S......Surely, a nation that has allowed the murder of over 65 million babies in the womb, a nation that embraces sexual perversion, a nation that is oppressive for the sake of national interest, a nation that is ostracizing the truth and believers while embracing occultism and satanism, a nation that knew GOD in truth at one time but will not be healed, is not long for judgement......Judgement begins in God's house and this nation is viewed world wide as a Christian NATION in some form or fashion......and history is replete with many nations that lasted a little over 200 years....give or take.

"I will make youths their leaders, and unstable rulers will govern them." The people will oppress one another, man against man, neighbor against neighbor; the young will act arrogantly toward the old, and the worthless toward the honorable.

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. My people, those who lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths.

Surely, a nation that has allowed the murder of over 65 million babies in the womb, a nation that embraces sexual perversion, a nation that is oppressive for the sake of national interest, a nation that is ostracizing the truth and believers while embracing occultism and satanism, a nation that knew GOD in truth at one time but will not be healed, is not long for judgement.

Listen dude, it is obvious that you don't subscribe to the same values that this Nation was founded upon so you can save your psudeo patrotic rhetoric about this Nation you abhor while hiding behind the cloke of self righteousness because the founding fathers revealed your hypocrisy with the truths declared to be self-evident.

But then again reprobrates don't grasp the doctrine of Christ since they are not subject to principles of truth neither can they be since they are liars from the beginning who refuse to abide in the truth.

I cant remember the number i'd have to look it up, it was mentioned by a pastor in a sermon.

Regardless, are christians so severely outnumbered that they cant do anything about it? Or do they just not vote?

The vast majority of citizens of the USA do not have a clue as to the conts of the Bill of Rights and the Constituion. Actually they never did or there would never have been slavery.

The same know nothing of the history of our country yet they tell all what they do not know as truth.

There is a big lie pemeating the populace of the US that they are or have returned to the old ways when the church took care of everyone. This is a very enormous falsehood.

Nowadays they call the democratic party communist, socialist and worse whil exercising a very extreme right wihg, perhaps even fascist, demanor wherever they weild any power.

If people knw their own history, they would know that the most progress for the majority was under the Democratic party. They tended to the health education and welfare of themajority while business and industy thrived.

Yes we are being fed a steady diet of revisionist history but I am on a fst regarding SCH.

I think the U.S. who is part of the G-7 represents one of the seven heads of the beast.
It isn't until one of these heads (the he-goat) in Daniel 8 secedes into four kingdoms (four horns), when the seven headed beast will then comprise the ten horns in Revelation 13. Currently only seven horns (powers), to the seven heads.

Because the kingdom of God is not of this world we have nations of people in respect to when two or three people, a family gather together, in the name of Jesus. In that way the idea of non denominational it is not a truism. To declare as prophecy the incorruptible seed of His word "Christ" the spiritual born again seed . God chose a man named Abram, meaning exalted father (singular) whose father was an Amorite, and mother an Hittite.

When calling him out from the religion of his own family to be used to represent His own self as a type .His name was changed to Abraham meaning; "The father of many" or a multitude nations as denominations or sects. Never in respect to one nation.

When we see the phrase; "Bosom of Abraham" we know he is talking an bout the invisible Holy Place where our unseen God stands alone not seen...…….. but heard by words of His faith .

I think the Holy Spirit would perform that division of the nations to protect his plan of brother not murdering brother(Cain Abel) and to carry it to the end of the plan , or sister murdering sisters because of one religious difference. Not that we should praise our difference but be glad he would find a way for brother and sister to walk together. without murdering each other .As did Saul (asked of God) before he was converted by faith whose name became Paul (little humbled).with a attitude change.

The thread is not necessarily apocalyptic about the U.S. per se.......it is more indicative of the fact that the U.S. is ripe for judgment and when Judah was ripe for judgment the scriptures indicate clearly the type of people that will be ruling and or appointed by God to rule....we see within the ranks of the people who rule us right now the same scenarios and types that were found in every nation or kingdom before they fell....Rome, Greece, and or Judah.......base, foolish, immature, immoral, liberal, etc.............leader against leader and violence in the land precedes a civil war........

TAKEN-->cause to be, come into being, be assembled and or brought forth, to arise, brought to pass

Now read it.....

ONLY HE who know retains or possess will hold fast until he comes into BEING or ARISES

Actually, forced servitude existed in the world before the United States ever became a Nation. (I get what you are saying, the following is not directed at you or anyone else specificially but rather us all in general)

While other Nations abolished slavery before the United States, the United States Constitution had set a definitive date that would prevent any further importation of human beings as slaves years before any King had issued a decree upon their Kingdom abolishing any human being from being subject of forced servitude to any other human being.

So if this Nation did not prohibit slavery with its Christian majority when had it in it's power, then let us hear the Gospel that affirms that it was not supported by the Christain religions then since they claim that the Word is the same yesterday, today and forever. If they could argue against it then they could argue against it now. And if they argued against then let's hear what they said then since those who claim to know the doctrine of Christ should have no problems showing were forced slavery always was and will always be contrary to the true faith.

If a person doesn't hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with the inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, then it is little wonder that there is no truth in them.
