Superb cross from Sterling after beating Young, finds Bernardo S at the back post, knocked back across for Aguero. He's down under pressure from Sterling, but that is irrelevant because David Silva has pounced on the ball, and David Silva slams it home.

City are being a bit more careless in possession and United are having some more joy. Rashford is played out wide by Herrera and the youngster finds Anthony Martial, who is able to get a shot off. His effort gets blocked.

A good chance created by City. They are finishing the first half strongly. Bernardo Silva drives at the United defence and plays in Aguero. The striker is at a tight angle and cannot get his foot round the ball to get his effort on target.
