1 Corinthians 15:55No I do not think so, a victorious Christian life is not about being a slaughtered.

Are you saying that we cannot rely on scripture, we need instead to go to Sketch for truth?
So. If you are bound by a sin, it is the bindings fault?
An eye for an eye was given at a time when a hand was severed for stealing an apple, it is asking for justice. Are you for unfairness instead?
As for being condemned, would you rather pat offenders on the head saying Oh, that's just fine little boy, we don't like justice here.
That tassels bit, are you trying to say that anything God the Father tells us is all wet?
I guess you would like the world as it was when God created it into a place for us to live. God created a special day for us to worship Him, boy do you tell God where to get off doing anything so cruel to you. You can use that day to get back at a God you think is so awful.

Yes, I saw that which is also why I quoted Matt.5:17 in my post. Jesus said, "don't think that I have come to abolish/set aside the Law and the prophets. I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill."
There are many who attempt to use this scripture to prove that we are still under the Law, but it actually proves the opposite, i.e. it's already been fulfilled.
What do you think it means that "the law is fulfilled". Do you believe it means that we can disregard everything scripture says about the law now? If God is eternal then God doesn't change. What God says would also be eternal.
I am 93 years old now, it won't be long until I will see if God is truthful or not so I will live on. If God is going to change things on a whim I am in trouble deep, Can't depend on such a God.
I am betting my life on that God is eternal, mighty, and true.
In living a victorious Christian life, we may not always be protected from harm.
The harm does not mean we were not victorious. In fact, the harm we live with is the biggest test of our ultimate victory.
Will we remain in Christ even when we feel betrayed and wounded?

- Tassels, you need tassels. (Numbers 15:37-39, Deuteronomy 22:12, Matthew 23:5)
Tassels are just as binding as the Sabbath. You shouldn't have one without the other.

You were saying that the law (the Law) has not been set aside.
I'm still not sure if you mean the books of the Law and the Prophets, or the law itself.
Sometimes the term "the Law" is referring to the books. (not the law itself)

Let me change my words to clarify, grace is the divine influence of God in the heart of the believer that provides the source to break the bondage of sin. So the victorious Christian life is not about surviving harm but breaking the bondage of sin.
This is why Paul tells us we are under grace.

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
It doesn't expressly say 'obedience to the law' but I think we can agree that the Lords Obedience also includes obedience to the Spiritual Law. Because if He broke that law he couldn't be considered completely obedient. Right?
You clearly don't understand what grace is...not just by your definition but by your actions and behavior.
The ceremonial law is fulfilled, as we no longer have to have an earthly high priest take some of our sheep, doves, oxen, etc., and sacrifice them for our sins. Jesus fulfilled that and the whole Law for us.
26-28 So now we have a high priest who perfectly fits our needs: completely holy, uncompromised by sin, with authority extending as high as God’s presence in heaven itself. Unlike the other high priests, he doesn’t have to offer sacrifices for his own sins every day before he can get around to us and our sins. He’s done it, once and for all: offered up himself as the sacrifice. The law appoints as high priests men who are never able to get the job done right. But this intervening command of God, which came later, appoints the Son, who is absolutely, eternally perfect.(Hebrews 7)
Now, that does not mean the moral law is set aside. In fact, it’s still wrong to lie, steal, commit adultery and idolatry, murder, etc.
