Mat 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Mat 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
Mat 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Rom 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Rom 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
Rom 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
Rom 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Love means to want the best for everybody, and that best in what is good for them whether physical needs, or spiritual salvation, regardless of how they treat us, or other people, for the saints have to be different than the world that is hateful, and be like their heavenly Father.
The saints do not say like the world when people offend them, go to hell, but they say, go to heaven.
Live peaceably with all men as much as lies in you, for our love, and communication, will vary from person to person in how we show that love, but we still have to follow peace with them, and love them.
It would depend on the people we deal with how they respond to us in how we show that love, but we have to show them love, which some we say hello, and that is the extent of it, and some we shake their hand, and that is the extent of it, and some we can hug, and some we cannot communicate with them, but that is initiated by them, and not us, so we stay away to keep the peace.
Love does not mean we go around hugging everybody for it is not possible when dealing with people, and some we might not want to hug for it does not dwell in our spirit to do so because of the person we are dealing with, but we better at least give them a hello.
But it would depend on the people we are dealing with how they allow us to respond to them for how they allow us to respond to them would be their character and how much they love.
We have to love people no matter how they act and that love would depend on the people of how much love they are willing to accept from you, which some do not even want you to say hello to them, which we have to follow peace with them and not say hello to them, but we still want the best for them in what is good, and their physical needs, and spiritual salvation.
We do not hope their marriage falls apart, or they get in to an accident on the highway, or a bear attacks them in the woods, or they fall in a sinkhole, or if they are eating a carrot walking in the yard and step on a rake and it pops up and knocks the carrot down their throat and they choke to death, and the list can go on and on that the people of the world enjoy to think about their enemies, but the saints cannot think that way.
