I have to disagree! Jesus never stops being the Lamb of God in the Bible.
“The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.” Rev. 21:23
“Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life—water as clear as crystal—pouring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb,” Rev. 22:1
“ And there will no longer be any curse, and the throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will worship him.” Rev. 22:3
These 3 quotes are from the last 2 books of the entire Bible, and Jesus is still the Lamb of God. I realize he is also the Lion of Judah, but it is Scripturally wrong to say he is not the Lamb!

The Lamb, is God with us in human form. It is the man Christ Jesus who is the Lamb. He fulfilled the role as sacrificial Lamb 2000 years ago. However as, "All things came into being through Him" (John 1:3) and as we are now "Waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13), will Jesus return again as a lamb a second time, to die for the sins of the world again, or will he return as our Judge before whom each one of us will stand. "For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad." (2 Corinthians 5:10)

Of course we will. For the Christian, Jesus Christ will always be the Lamb of God, but to the unsaved they will see Him as a ravaging Lion.
On the throne of David He will be both Lamb and Lion. Have you ever seen a list of just the names of Jesus in the Bible? It's pretty long.
But I do get the gist of your OP and you are correct that when He comes back on horseback -- He isn't going to be gently inviting all the children to come and sit on His lap.

Just to add to my previous post, I believe in the goodness of almighty God and therefore it is
Just to say that I believe Jesus was God manifest on earth and when we finally meet out Lord and maker we will find he is all of those things, each in its own season.
Ecc 3:1-8
(1) To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
(2) A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
(3) A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
(4) A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
(5) A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
(6) A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
(7) A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
(8) A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

With some there is a misunderstanding on where Jesus will reign from.
Where Will Jesus Reign
Isaiah 2:1-4 — Isaiah says that “in the last days” the Messiah will reign from Mount Zion in Jerusalem and the entire world will experience peace.
Isaiah 9:6-7 — The Messiah will rule from the throne of David, giving the world a government of peace, justice, and righteousness. (Note: The throne of David is not in Heaven. It is located in Jerusalem — see Psalm 122. Jesus is not now on the throne of David. He sits at the right hand of His Father on His Father’s throne — see Revelation 3:21.)

There are two Jerusalems, one now here in Israel, the other to be brought down by God, Himself, the New Jerusalem, that is the Jerusalem of the freed.
No, it is not on earth now, but it is to be brught down in His time. We all kow the Israel and Jerusalem of this age are not the Israel of God but a staging area for the final moments of this age. It's in the Book.

His identity, the Lamb, rooted in sacrifice, is as much a part of Him as the Lion. These truths will never change. I think that the OP was merely referencing the Lion in Him that we all will soon see. But yes, imho, the Lion is who He is because of the Lamb, vice versa. Impossible to seperate, they are His attributes, all parts of who He is!!!

The opening post was exactly correct. We who are Christians will always know Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God. But He who is a Lamb is also a Lion when it comes to a defense of His people. And the world will know this Lion when He returns because He will set things straight.
(Is. 63:1-6) "Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger; and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore min own arem brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down theri strength to the earth"
As was said, Jesus when He returns will be covered with blood, but it won't be His. It will be those of the unbelieving nations that He know brings to heel.

Now careful Endo, you are going to upset the amillennialist with words like that. They think He is already reigning (Ultimately: Our God does reign) from heaven. They also think Satan is bound already. If this era is the Kingdom of God, heaven help us! That Satan is pretty brash for being bound.

You may know Jesus but......does he know you? Does his coming bring you Joy or does it trouble you? Some say the gifts of holy spirit is a sign that proves your born again. Friend there are no gifts but a gift....love. Do you love the brotheren? Have you told and showed them?
Jesus said that's a sure sign you are his. Now mind ya we can be annoying but do you have a concern of their well being???? Have you told the father about them (pray).
Most of us really try to get it right. Right scripture, right response, but is our heart right?? I struggle with this daily, motive.
Our.. all seeing , all knowing, all powerful, pure and holy Lord will be coming back soon
