Again, the context is the spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ. Calvinists make the context them. The "according to" at the beginning of verse 3 states the context is back in verse 2.

We are all objects of His wrath being revealed daily from heaven .We live in a corrupted body of death and all will experience the first death of these bodies of death .Corrupted flesh and blood will not enter the new heavens and earth Its the final death, the second death of our body and soul that we are saved from not like those who will never to rise to new spirit life on the last day .

We open up both books The book of life as everyone God planned to create from day one. And the lambs book of eternal life as the lamb that was slain from the foundation, the first six days, resting on the 7th as our Sabbath rest we enter as new creatures.

When the two books are compared those whose names are not found in the lambs book of eternal life... they will be cast into the lake of fire, the second death.
