I know, I literally JUST posted a thread. Posting the MGTOW thread got me thinking - I see posts that bash the opposite sex ALL the time. I want to do the opposite.

SO, if you are a man, what are your favorite things about women?

If you are a woman, what are your favorite thing about men?

My favorite things about men, the ones that love Jesus...are: (and just to clarify I'm not saying women aren't the things I've mentioned or are them)

1. Your humor. Oh my gosh, I love to laugh and God made you guys so dang funny.

2. That you are protectors. I love you all protect and take care of us women. (I'm such a feminist ;))

3. Your ability to lead.

4. Your strength.

Those are 4 quick ones. I would love to see what other gentlemen and ladies think! (notice I used gentlemen and ladies because I expect all responses to be gentlemanly and lady like :p)

Let's see what I like best about men (or at least the men I've run into)...

1) Logical problem solving brains.
2) Mechanical aptitude - they can fix my car and build stuff for my house (when I get a house)
3) most of them are very low drama people

Now I'm wondering if this is more a list of what I like about all men, or a list defining the type of man I like.

Well I'm only 18 I'm still very young so maybe i don't know much yet, butttt i will say that i do like that women tend to be very loving. Even the colder one's seem to be extremely caring they just show it differently. I can't say how many times i did something stupid or messed up and a woman (friends, girlfriends, or even family) always help to make you feel like you're not completely useless lol. Also, for more intimate stuff ig, hugs and stuff are great and most girls smell like really good. There's other stuff but that is what comes to my mind soooo ye.

Exhibit A, the willingness of Sonflower to turn a negative into a positive, or the ability to set a more positive atmosphere concerning a topic where both sides are usually more than eager to bite the heads off of each other

As a woman who has been through a divorce, I understand how the court system is definitely skewed towards women. I do not understand manipulative women that do this. I think, on a personal level, I dislike being lumped into this group of women by MGTOW. I am a very different woman. I want my kids to be with their dad because I love my children. I don't want to take all of his money because I want my children's dad to be in a good place. If I didn't have kids, it isn't Christ like, imo to get revenge through a court system. I, absolutely, disagree with that sort of behavior.

I. also, think this problem was created during the times when women were treated unfairly. Now, though, the pendulum of the problem has swung widely in the other direction leading to men being treated very unfairly.
Exhibit B, the ability to be understanding, and see the big picture, hence women are "web thinkers"

Ok...Hi y'all. I haven't been super active here in a while but after reading a post recently, I decided I wanted to ask you all some questions. I want to have an honest conversation about MGTOW.

The wiki definition of MGTOW is..."MGTOW (”Men Going Their Own Way”) is a way of life which refuses to defer to women in defining the worth of men. Instead, it focuses on positive male aspects, inviting men to go their own way in life."

That seems innocent enough but my experience with MGTOW has not been positive. I have seen some seriously hateful, extreme sides of mgtow. It is the same with feminism, that it why at a surface level I am not a supporter of feminism.

Question 1: Do you think it is biblical to support/believe in mgtow?

Question 2: Do you believe it is a generally positive movement?

Question 3: If you follow mgtow, is it because you dislike women and why?

Personally, I am not a general fan of things that divide us by gender and age or anything else. I feel we should be united brothers and sisters in Christ. I'm just trying to understand. I am fully aware this may lead to some off putting comments. My hope is we have a kind, honest conversation about this.
Exhibit C, Sonflower is good as phrasing questions in as fair and unbiased way as possible

we have Exhibit A, B, and C
cc.com will miss Sonflower and we would wish that there's more people like Sonflower
I rest my case

Why will cc miss me? Am I going somewhere? :)

Or was that in reference to me stating I hadn't been super active in the forums in a while?

And thank you for the kind words.

Really?
That's all you've got?

You like men because they make funny noises when telling a story?

That's it?

It's good to know where I stand...
I'm just slightly below a duck call or a finger cymbal.

I'm so tired of this crazy forum...
as soon as I find my castanets I'm going out for the night.

Sounds terrifying lol, be careful though doing things like that can damage your vocal cords if done too much, it happens to people who force their voices to sound a certain way when singing cx.
