I am posting this in a couple places, as usual to try and get more participation...

Since trollers love attention let's analyze their offputting mindsets, for just a bit.

You in?

You think there are trollers offline? I mean can you imagine one at target or walmart, getting on the speaker, and spewing shocking, insulting and provocative thoughts, attempting entice and rile, simply to watch people react?

I'll tell you this about them, the research projects they provide has value. We don't need to examine them long though, because they are so transparent. They teach us that there are those out there who are wolves in wolves clothing. I like that about them. You don't have to ponder if they are up to no good, they make it obvious. I find their need to bait, to derive pleasure in shocking or playing games, kinda entertaining in a pffft and ugh sort of way. Sometimes though, I get a good hearty laugh, thinking, hahaha, this nonsensical fisher is creative and going to be successful in catching a lot of attention.

If there was a troller tagline what would it be?

Believe it or not, I'm actually kind of thankful for the troll (if it is a troll) because they have brought some life back to this forum which has been dead for so long.

I have known many real life trolls. They enjoy asking questions that instigate arguments or saying things just for the shock value.

They can be entertaining for a while... Usually less than 10 minutes... But eventually it becomes wearisome to deal with them.

I suppose there are trolls both on the internet and in real life. I consider myself a jokester somehow, I like to make people laugh, be a little sarcastic sometimes, witty and do random and ridiculous stuff just because is fun (though I'm terrible with jokes, I don't know any XD). As some people may have seen in some threads, I joke around a lot, but when it comes to God's and spirituals matter I like to take things seriously. For me, the Lord is NO joke.
The problem with trolls, however, is when they have no issue saying something that might offend or belittle someone else. They don't care who they affect with their comments, and like to make others angry just to feel good themselves, sometimes just because they consider it fun, no other reason whatsoever. I say is ok to have fun as long as you don't hurt others or yourself.

They can be quite entertaining, huh? Hey wait, some of the forum has had life, cough cough, but maybe not the kind you like. So tell me, do you have a tagline for one ...

Let's see if I can come up with something based on your silver lining appreciation...

Im not just a troller, I am a super troller muck runner, contriving ruckus makes a forum much funner, lol.

I appreciate your posts. I'm talking about the forum overall. One person making a few threads isn't what I'd call a lively forum. This place used to be so active that you could come back every 15 minutes and have to catch up on what's new.

Yes, I agree, a road worthy of jaunting, but if for too long it becomes haunting. Sorry lynx, my rhyming is out of control, which in itself is more irritating than a silly troll, lol.

I couldn't agree more with you. Wit, humor, light hearted fun = very delightful and good, quite creative. On the other hand, insulting, demeaning and critical, not so creatively explored = ewwww unattractive, and yes toxic and damaging if it hurts others or themselves, for that matter!!!!

Now I need to go find your posts, I look forward to a laugh. No pressure, lol

Oh really. wow, I reckon folks have run out of new topics. I bet every thought known to man kind has been pondered. That would be fun to see lots of activity, for sure.

If I can make someone smile, then I'll consider it a victory ;)

Yea, pretty much all of those people have left. Some left because of drama, some felt that ths forum was getting too addicting, and some just left unnoticed. There used to be a lot of regulars here and there was a good sense of humor combined with camaraderie that kept things churning along. You would've fit right in, CharlieRenee. :)

Aweeee thank you, sad that ppl left unnoticed. I see that seems to be a problem here and in the chat room. I like your mind, can you think of a way to remedy that?

I think it just takes the right kind of people to show up and start posting. I know that the forum is slow in the summer but it was never slow as it was this summer... at least for the 9 years I've been here. Anyway, things usually pick up around this time of year... usually. ;)

Sorry to keep pestering, but do think your solution addresses the unnoticed ones?
