you don't have a clue of how things are so I doubt you know how they should be

seriously. you deny again and again and again the fact Ford is a liar.

what do you know about prosecutors? are you one? do you appear often in court?
Funny you should mention this, but I have been a prosecutor for years. I have also been a criminal defense lawyer. I have more than 10 years of court room experience and court room brawls.

This is what I do for a living. And believe me, I nail the bad guys.

What is a proper investigation in your world?

There is no forensic evidence in this case.
Because there hasn’t been any investigation in that general direction.

Hmmm. That lends insight to this.

Prosecutors don't care if the guy or gal is guilty, or not guilty, all they want is the credit for prosecuting.

You also nail the good guys, but don't really care and that is a sad fact.

Also, you're proving this to be the case by your lynch mob attitude concerning Kavanaugh -- you don't care there is no evidence, all you can think of is "prosecute."

That's not justice you're practicing, it's injustice, and unChristian. No wonder our country is in such disarray with prosecutors (alleged) who act like this.

Well, you have repeatedly revealed that you have no clue whatsoever regarding reasonable doubt and the implications of it. I don’t know where that leaves you, but certainly not in a professional position in a court room.

I honestly don't say this to be mean. I have read your posts for a couple yrs and I like you, but it terrifies me that you are a prosecutor.

Some of the things you have said in this thread alone should disqualify you as one.

that makes your assertions even more...uh...well unbelievable frankly

in all sincerity, why are you choosing to ignore Ford's lies and the dismissals of the other absurd allegations, not even counting the walkback 2 so called accusers did?

I have a good amount of psychology under my belt (accredited university courses) but no degree as well as training in counselling with a 98% passing grade in those courses and have practical application in real life with regards to biblical counselling

I am very observant of people..and what I saw regarding Ford was one VERY uncomfortable liar who had been coached within an inch of her life but found herself scared in the actual situation and no amount of 'recess' was going to...pardon me...change her underwear for her

so you studied law and I studied people

anyway, gotta be somewhere, so later

With all due respect.

The only thing I have asked for is some more investigation. You, amongst others, have been chanting that Mrs Ford is a liar no matter what. Maybe she is, but I cannot know that before an investigation has concluded.

A prosecutor can’t conclude on those grounds. But you obviously can, and that’s disappointing.

You’re creating a straw man.

I have only said there should be further investigation. To some of y’all that’s like saying I hate Kavanaugh and want him convicted.

Please.

Prosecutors don't care what grounds are there, they'll conclude and prosecute on nothing other than someone accusing, and call it "probable cause" with nothing more than an accusation.

Spare us the baloney, you think Kavanaugh is guilty, no matter what and you don't like the fact that the investigation turned up exactly nothing.

The burden of proof is on Ford, not Kavanaugh, according to God's law. You know this, right? You do know that adult single witness malicious accusations are to be thrown out, according to God's law, no?

Here let me school you...

Beyond a reasonable doubt only applies to the prosecution's case, doubt can only be raised by the defendant on the evidence presented.

There was no evidence therefore no doubt can even be raised.

You really need to go back and read your case law. smh....

Obviously this is about emotions and not facts or law. Good luck with that.

I would have to agree, like basic understanding of reasonable doubt, due process and evidence.

Waaaay out there.

Please show me where I said Ford was a liar.

What I HAVE said is that if she is found to be one she should be imprisoned for severely damaging the reputation of a man.
Do you agree with that?

Also, as a prosecutor, should Feinstein be charged for holding on to this information for 2 plus months instead of providing it to the FBI?

Lastly, YOU said, the a mere ACCUSATION is enough to disqualify and ruin a man's life. Horrible for a court prosecutor to believe that.

more strange interpretation.....

The prosecutor does not conclude the jury concludes based on the evidence.
Criminal Law 101

An investigation was concluded there was no more to investigate, no forensic evidence. There was no corroboration of her statements.

Case closed.

I haven’t said that. That’s your straw man. You, and a couple of others here, are not able to see that the need of further investigation is not equivalent to saying anybody’s lying nor that accusations are enough to be proven guilty or ruin anybody’s reputation.

Would you stand before the judge, presenting as solid evidence, a report made in, what has to be considered, to put it mildly, a hurry?

Furthermore, would you, knowing that the President himself is expecting a certain outcome of the investigation, and, as you would probably know, was ready to, quite literally, fire you if the report didn’t fit his agenda. As you probably also know, that’s happened before to an FBI employee...

Now, would you?

The burden of proof is on the prosecution, not on a citizen.

I say there is reason to investigate this further.

If you don’t agree, feel free, but your false accusations are no better than what you’re accusing others of.

Ponder that for a while.

I think you could use that Criminal Law 101 yourself:).

Listen, if you can’t provide anything of legal value, that’s all good, but don’t pretend you can. Okay?

there is no straw man in anything I have posted

the fact you ignore the revelations about the lies of Ford and the fact that the other so called 'witnesses' have asked to be excused, as in let's just pretend I never raised my hand and said 'ooooo me too me too' means nothing to you

yes you have said there should be further investigation. despite the fact there have been 7 and rather than ask Kavenaugh actual questions when it was their turn to question, the dems played kissy kissy with Ford and congratulated her on her 'bravery' and those who want to run for prez in 2020 postured and fabricated and twisted and attacked without any questions being asked

and when the vote was held, Booker and the other pretenders to the throne, marched out like the petulant little small minds they are

no red herring. just you dodging and dissing the facts

you might pull that stunt in court and prosecute till the cows come home on no evidence

you sound like you may be a practitioner of the leading question

keep up the dance but you don't have a partner
