The revealing of Jesus Christ<---the whole book of Revelation reveals Christ as God....Hebrews reveals Christ as God, the Pharisees wanted to kill Jesus because he made himself equal with God, Genesis sets Christ forth as God, it even states clearly that he DISROBED himself of GLORY to take the form of sinful flesh.....any religion that denies the divinity of Christ is not of God, but of Satan
1- "the whole book of Revelation reveals Christ as God"
Rev 3:12-
(Jesus) "He who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God; never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. "

2-"Hebrews reveals Christ as God"
Heb 1:1- In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets;
2- but in these last days He has spoken to us by a Son, whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom also He created the world.
3- He reflects the glory of God and bears the very stamp of his nature, upholding the universe by his word of power.

3-"the Pharisees wanted to kill Jesus because he made himself equal with God"
John 10:33
- The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we stone you but for blasphemy; because you, being a man, make yourself God.”
34- Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, you are Gods’?
35- If he called them Gods to whom the word of God came (and scripture cannot be broken),
36- do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am
>>> the Son of God’ <<<<?
4-"Genesis sets Christ forth as God"
Jesus is not mentioned in Genesis
; only Church Spin says the "Us" is the 'Trinity...

5-"he DISROBED himself of GLORY to take the form of sinful flesh"
So- did ONE of your Gods become a man, while TWO remained in Heaven?
It wasn't glory to be with God in Heaven- the glory he GAVE UP to "become a little lower than angels"?

I'm sure even Captain Obvious can tell you, jesus commanded Peter, John and the few disciples, it's meant for the disciples, you are taking it out of context.

JW guy, should jesus be capitalized or lowercase (I trust that God understands my intention for this)

Jesus said it was a VISION, not an actual event.

Jesus said of Himself that He could lay down His life and take it up again. that no one could take it from Him.

only God could say this.

You need to get real, and get an identity of your own. Quit trying to start arguments and spew your nonsense while trying to hang off Dcon’s belt, and then run behind him and anyone else you can who hoping they will defend you and your antics of pure nonsense.

Read and study the Word of God and then come back, and then you might actually be able to post something on your own that makes some sense…Just saying.
trying to drive my point across

God cannot die.
If Jesus died, he could do nothing.
If he NEVER died, as your church claims ("it was just the body") he couldn't take it up again, either.

John 10:15- As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
17- Therefore my Father loves me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
18- No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment [Grk entole - injunction, i.e. an authoritative prescription] have I received from my Father.

His God and Father guaranteed his resurrection, if faithful to Death.

no, misquote here- Jesus said He had the authority to lay His life down and taking it up.

He had the authority.

but, what does your group know? you think celebrating birthdays is a sin. that's a joke.

that's ridiculous, celebrating Christmas is not sin, and celebrating birthday is not sin

if they (whoever gb9 is referring to) have that much problem with holidays,
Romans 14:23 - whatever is not of faith is sin

and here's a tip: if you feel intimidated (or bored) by the thought of Reading the Bible, you can go to your collection of favorite bible verse and start from there

Good point!~ Started as Faith- then died!
It was faith and still is faith, the faith that is dead, is a faith that is not operative, not being used.

Faith is belief expressed in action. Dead faith does not mean non-existent, this is where you draw a false conclusion.

An inoperative (dead) faith is a faith that is not be used, not be exercuted, not being expressed physically.........why does this faith need to be operative you may ask? To be justified before God...NO!!!

It needs to be operative so that we as believers are justified before men, so that we are not just people of beliefs and ideas but people who put what we believe into action so that others will also come to belief.

17- So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.

Why is it dead/inoperative? Because it cannot be seen until a person works.

to help illustrate what Grace is saying here,

imagine a calculator, just because you don't use the calculator doesn't mean that the calculator cease to exist,
if we don't use the calculator, we will never know if it works or not (ie: dead battery)

Yes I think so. Sad.:(

Explains "churchianity" and works based salvation
I did have the same works mentality for a long time for spiritual warfare

God loves all of you, and we wish to spread the same love to those who don't know what that is

Ever follow your OWN advice?
Paul was inspired to write how some would try to justify themselves by their faith alone- or by their works alone.
He showed works were a PART of real faith.
Or do you do NOTHING with what you think you know?
Again, I ask how much "works" does one need to demonstrate true faith.

If you are a JW, you need to think long and hard on this and if you are honest with yourself, you will admit that there is no answer.

So where does that leave you ......with no way to save yourself by works.

for the wages of sin is death

how can you possibly work if you are dead?

and, think about the debt, percentwise, how much did Jesus pay? I believe Jesus paid 100%
how much did we pay? I believe we pay 0%

if JW believes that our percentage is incorrect, what will the answer be?
