Yet Jesus said (as his God & Father did) that the meek will inherit the Earth, and Peter that the righteous will live on it forever!
Yes, and Jesus will return and be king on the earth. Will the Lord reign in a carnal body? Will the saints who will reign with Christ on the earth for a millennia, reign in carnal bodies.
How I see this, is the Lord with the saints who are no longer on the earth, will marry spiritually to the living on earth saints.
Outside of the saints neighborhood, will be the carnal (reincarnated) living in darkness, without the Lords illumination, who will have to periodically go to the saints for their illumination.

Isaiah 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

The Lord along with His saints shall rule over the earth with a rod of Iron.
To rule over the earth means to rule over its peoples; it does not mean as in distance height over the earth.

Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Not quite on the money here: Those that are called in this first fruits church (believer today) are given the Holy Spirit and will be in the first resurrection. Nobody in the first resurrection will have a carnal body. They will reign with Christ on earth for a thousand years (Rev. 5:10 & Rev. 20:6).

The Gentiles addressed in Isaiah are the remnant left alive after the Day of the Lord. Christ will rule them with a rod of iron at first. But they will later catch on to how blessed it is to live according to God's will.

After the one thousand-year reign, the rest of the dead will be resurrected to mortal bodies for the Great White Throne Judgment. With them will be those that died during the millennium (Rev. 20:11-15).

There will be both the faithful who are physically alive on the inside , and the faithless who are physically alive on the outside during the millennia. The faithless in carnal bodies Gog and Magog precede the close of the millennia.
Then comes the resurrection of all at the close of the millennia.

"I believe... in the resurrection of flesh..."
Apostles' Creed

Why cannot we live as spirits, after we leave this body when it dies? Why is it better to have the old body resurrected (though with new super-properties)?
Take comfort in 1 Corinthians 15
53 in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must be clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come to pass: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”…

Yes, there are those going to heaven.
God didn't change His mind about the Earth, and Jesus, Apostles and Prophets didn't make Bloopers.

Ps 37:10- Yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look well at his place, he will not be there.
11- But the meek shall possess the Earth, and delight themselves in abundant prosperity.

"I believe... in the resurrection of flesh..."
Apostles' Creed

Why cannot we live as spirits, after we leave this body when it dies? Why is it better to have the old body resurrected (though with new super-properties)?
In the flesh dwells no good thing, and the Spirit and flesh are contrary to each other, so the flesh will have to be put off and no longer be a part of the saints in the afterlife.

All spirits go back to God who gave them regardless of how the person acted on earth, so the spirit is no longer a part of the saints in the afterlife.

The only thing that will remain is the soul the true part of the saints that they possessed on earth.

The Bible says there is a physical body, and a spiritual body.

The saints will not have a resurrected physical body, but a spiritual body with new super-properties.

What will resurrect is the saints souls, not the physical body with new properties.

And the physical body cannot be made over, redone, or refurbished, or rebuilt, and this is the reason why.

All sin must be purged with fire, anything tainted with sin, which the saints receive the Holy Spirit and with fire to purge their sins according to the soul.

The Bible says that God is making a new heaven, and a new earth, and the former shall not be remembered, nor come to mind, when the saints are at the New Jerusalem.

The old heaven shall melt with fervent heat, and the old earth shall be burned up and the works of it, and all will be dissolved, for the heaven has been tainted with sin by Lucifer's rebellion, and the earth has been tainted with sin by the rebellion of Adam and Eve.

So there is no redoing this present earth and heaven but they will be dissolved, and pass away, and when the saints and angels are at the New Jerusalem they will remember nothing prior to that, but will always feel like they have been there and nowhere else.

They will not remember the old heaven and earth for they are associated with sin and rebellion.

Which is a place wherein dwells righteousness, where sin has never been, and sin will never be, and sin and rebellion will never come up again.

So the physical body cannot resurrect, and can not be redone to have new properties, like the old heaven and earth cannot be redone to have new properties, for in the flesh dwells no good thing, and it is tainted with sin that cannot be removed, for if it could be removed then the saints would not be tempted to sin, and could not sin, after they are saved on earth.

But the saints are tempted to sin, and have the possibility to sin if they choose to sin, so the flesh is in the same position as the old heaven and earth that cannot be redone once they are tainted by sin.

The glorified body will be a body that has not been redone, and has not ever experienced temptation, and cannot sin, for if it were the flesh resurrected it would have been tainted with sin even though one might say but it is redone.

But there is no redoing of the flesh for it is off the saints, and off it will stay, and be dissolved along with the earth, and heaven, that are tainted with sin.

The glorified body is an entirely different body than the flesh, and separate from the physical body, and not a rebuilt physical body.

Adam BECAME a soul.
Animals are souls.
The spirit is G0d's Power~

The spirit that keeps us alive, and returns to God is not US as some disembodied soul-spirit thing.

Remember-"Spirit" is from the Hebrew and Greek words capturing the essence of an unseen force: "Wind, Breath"!
This is what keeps EVERY LIVING THING alive-

Isa 42:5- Thus saith God Jehovah, he that created the heavens, and stretched them forth; he that spread abroad the
earth and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein.-ASV

CHURCHianity has perverted every key biblical word.
With the 'Immortal Soul' deception
Hello TheQuestion,

How do you believe that the soul is not immortal? We have many examples of the spirit being conscious and aware after the death of the body such as the souls under the altar at the opening of the 5th seal, the rich man and Lazarus, Jesus telling the man crucified next to him, that he would be in paradise with Him that very day, etc.

They HAVE to play musical chairs with death, soul, spirit, and resurrection.
According to Heb.4:12-14, a human being is made up of body, soul and spirit, with the last two being co-joined so-to-speak. When the body of a believer dies, their spirit/soul goes immediately to be in the presence of the Lord - 2 Cor.5:6-8. Phil.1:22-24. At the time of the resurrection, the spirits of those who have died in Christ will return with him and be reunited with the resurrected bodies. Then according to the scripture, those believers who are still alive in Christ will be changed into their immortal and glorified bodies and caught up with those who will have just resurrected. This is not from CHURCHanity, but from the word of God.

Adam WAS a soul- as we ALL are; and those chose to go to heaven will; be transformed into SPIRIT beings instead of HUMAN beings. Contrary to Satan, Churchianity & World Religions- we DO die, and WILL be resurrected at the Appointed Time- just as prophet, Christ and Apostles foretold.
In addition, the on-going error of many, is the lack of understanding of scriptures definition of death, which many interpret as soul-sleep or unconsciousness, which is false. As I pointed out above, according to Paul and the comparison of scripture, at the time of death for the believer, the spirit/soul departs from the body and goes immediately to be in the presence of the Lord. Those who have died in Christ are in their spirit/soul form and are waiting for the resurrection from that side. In opposition, those who die in their sins, their spirits/souls depart and go down into Hades where they will be in torment in flame just like the rich man, where they will remain until the great white throne judgment. Therefore, there is not need to play musical chairs, as you call it.

Life and Death are both states of eternal existence. Life is eternal, conscious existence in the joy of the Lord. And death is eternal, conscious existence in separation from the Lord and punishment in the lake of fire. The Greek words (olethros, apollumi, apolleia) do not imply "annihilation/extinction" but complete loss of well being, ruination. Death defined as being non-existent, is the worlds view of death, but God's word teaches the opposite. Jesus made this clear himself when He said:

"But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what God said to you: ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?’ He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

The meaning is that, the spirits of those mentioned above are alive, conscious and aware. Another good example of this is when Jesus was transfigured in front of Peter, John and James with Moses and Elijah appearing with Christ and speaking with the Lord about His departure. Hey! Moses and Elijah, what are you guys doing up, you're supposed to be sleeping?!

When Christ returns to the earth, He and we with Him, will rule absolutely. There will be none of what you see now, but complete peace with Christ ruling in Jerusalem on the throne of king David according to the scripture.

That is exactly what happens at the time of death for the believer. Their body dies and is buried, while their spirit departs to be in the presence of the Lord awaiting the resurrection of their immortal and glorified bodies, just like the Lord's glorified body.

"LOOK! I am making all things NEW!"
A Restoration.

It is not until after the tribulation period, followed by the millennial period and then followed by the great white judgment that God makes all things new.

He no more will destroy the Earth than He will Heaven- but makes them "New".
It is not a restoration, but a brand spanking new earth as in, creating something from nothing. This current heaven and earth pass away, i.e. disappear - Rev.20:11, 21:1.

Stan and followers cast from Heaven, next the Wicked will be destroyed.
Satan (not Stan) and his angels, will be cast out of heaven to the earth in the middle of the seven years at the sounding of the 7th trumpet/3rd woe. They will be restricted here on the earth with no more access into heaven during the last 3 1/2 years. When Christ returns to the earth to end the age at the end of that 3 1/2 years, he will then be thrown into and restricted in the Abyss during Christ's thousand year reign - Rev.20:1-3.

It is not until the end of Christ's thousand year reign that Satan and his angels will be thrown into the lake of fire - Rev.20:10

Revelation is a SYMBOLIC VISION; no gigantic city will float done to Earth....
You're already defeated if you think that Revelation is symbolic. If the plain literal sense makes good sense, then don't seek any other sense. It requires discernment. When you read: "I saw a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and wearing a crown of twelve stars" then you know that it is symbolical/figurative language. Another example would be "an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten crowns." However, to interpret the entire book of Revelation as symbolic is why so many don't understand it. For example, the disastrous results of the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments will all take place literally, decimating the majority of the population of the earth and dismantling all human government.

According to Jesus' letter to the church of Philadelphia regarding overcomers and the new Jerusalem, He said the following:

"The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will never again leave it. Upon him I will write the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from My God), and My new name." (Rev.3:12)

Then John refers to the new Jerusalem as well:

"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (Rev.21:1-2)

Paul also spoke about the new Jerusalem by description. For regarding the hero's of faith he says:

"Instead, they were longing for a better country, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. (Heb.11:16)

When you have such a detailed account given in describing the new Jerusalem as in Revelation chapters 21 & 22, such as the measurements of the Hight, width and depth of the city, the thickness of its walls and them being garnished with all kinds of precious gem-stones, having twelve gates made from a single pearl with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel written on each gate and the names of the twelve apostles written on each of the twelve foundations, etc., etc., then it is obvious that a literal city is being referred to.

I would suggest to you to stop listening to the false teachings on these Biblical subjects, because you are believing and repeating what you are reading or hearing.

The jehovah's falsewitnesses that come to my door are usually more friendly. I am a guy with street smarts, i come from the mean streets im not one of these liberal joel osteen christians that you can push around, and I tell you this to say, i can spot a faker when i see one.
And the JWs are the most fake nice people on the planet.
Really the JWs hate all core christian doctrines, and in their arrogance dont realize without protestant Martin Luther they and their entire moveement would not even exist, they wouldnt even have a bible in their own language.

Now to debunk your argument simply:

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

People in heaven, talking, being aware. Same in the previous chapter. NEXT

Kudos to you... you "stool" the Scripture I was going to use...lol...lol

My son just said last night that we become angles when we move home... I jumped up real quick and showed him this Scripture. We went on to talk about the lie of the devil reincarnation is and that people becomes angles. People stay people with glorified bodies, fish stay fish, and angles are G-d's creation that always stay angles, some now demons because of the fall, but spiritual beings.... I might say our conversation took a long time. But at least my son is theologically correct now.....
