you were wrong about where the phylactery's were worn and you make the above comment

sore looser...I don't view this as right or wrong but obviously you do

you loose both ways. you refuse to admit when you are wrong ... source material is included so either you did not read to the end, or you prefer to falsify what others state

you could have learned something

you put judge not that you be not judged as a quote and yet you have judged everyone who disagrees with your Sabattarian views by saying they follow Paul

you sound quite petulant

you do not address what is actually in a post and have not for several pages now...so hopefully those who do not know about Sabbath day worshipers who keep only partial OT law, will become aware of the stumbling block that group creates and the manmade false doctrines they keep
Definition of hypocrite

1 : a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion

2 : a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings

The above post says the word "You" 14 times 7. Maybe before scolding and rebuking others of making judgments a person should look in the mirror and consider their own words first.

Just saying.

Sorry, watching a movie.

Listen, the original phylacteries were worn around the neck. Since that time zealous Pharisee types have evolved the forehead and the wrist adodrnments as obeying having the law always before them....going to the etreme of wearing a box on the forehead and on the wrist…...This is not like when they wore them on the chest, making them broad for everyone to see just how holy they were.

Keep it up.

no

YOU listen

this isn't about phylacteries although I am sure that may be a safer subject for you to disseminate

why don't you just admit you were wrong...they were worn on the forehead also...

they won't save you though.

Paul is just as legitimate an Apostle as any other Jesus chose

I recently came across this article below on the growing dangers of the Hebrew roots movement. The article points out how the past few decades have witnessed a growing influence of this movement among conservative Christians. It is not unusual to see some HRM proponents give themselves Hebrew names, identify as Torah observant, write “God” as “G-d,” eat only kosher foods, claim that the New Testament was originally written in Hebrew (or at least several books were), condemn numerous Christian traditions as pagan, dismiss teachings from Paul’s epistles etc.. - https://answersingenesis.org/presuppositions/dangers-hebrew-roots-movement/
These kind of movements have been happening for years, nothing new, old shoe revisited.

Are you saying that if I will not admit to your bringing up modern Jewish tradition scarcely relatable to the Bible that I am in error of losing my salvation?

There is nothing in the law about those modern traditions that I recall, nothing. There is mention of keeping God's Word, His Lws, in the heart and mind at al times, but I do not recall anything about your apparatus as an outward sign of piety.

Now show me the phylactery of the Word, I mean an image or description from the Word.

Saying you "know" about the modern, since Jesus, versions of the phylactery is my duty to b expert on really has no bearing on my witness to Jesus Christ.

Perhaps you want to where one of those modern sets of phylateries……….

I do not think if there was no rightly dividing then why would He require we do in order to receive His approval? We might not all have the same understanding but do have the commandment to perform His will that does work in us to both will and perform that which he does appoint to us. How else could we seek after the approval of him not seen?
If we have been forgiven of our sins and now we are being taught by Him how to love people, we should not be guessing what to do with our lives. God asks us to love everywhere we go as that is the basis of Jesus' teaching. At some point in your life you realize what the Bible message is and you rejoice in the sharing of its principles. We do not need a PHD in God. The evidence of our faith is love and this is easy to understand. Everything else that we do is just posturing to get acceptance. Love defines our lives and makes simple the essence of any scriptural teaching. If you have not understood love yet, then keep reading until you find the simplicity of it. I am just a child who loves.

Right. :)

Romans 5:1-5 blb -

1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but also we glory in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not make us ashamed, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through [by means of] the Holy Spirit, the One having been given to us.

do you have anything written by Paul in your Bible?

that is the real problem with what you believe

Paul adds nothing to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, other than his own personal views on certain assembly activities. If youu check what Paul writes, he says that a person should be accursed who teaches a gospel other that that of Jesus Christ, the one Paul taught also.

you could explain this post...you immediately objected to the op

you do not seem to know much about Paul's contribution and in fact indicate he can just be passed over

these redundant personal judgments are so very sad and 'telling' at the same time -
look into your own hearts and ask your Saviour to give you wisdom and discernment,
instead of 'constant accusations' against your own brothers and sisters..

is the precious loving/forgiving/kindness of our precious Saviour abiding inside of
your hearts??? instead of mis-understandings and accusations???

who are you, and what is your motive/intent??? is it ALL GODLY, is it proven by your words???

I have replied to the op as to having learned from Paul and reading him every day……….

I see where he was weak in some areas , and being truthful, I do mention those times, just as he would of you or of me.

Now, if the spirit of bashing is yet here, come back and talk about me some more if it makes you feel holier than….

Get back on topic.

wrong on both counts

Phylactery, Hebrew Tefillin, also spelled Tephillin, or Tfillin, in Jewish religious practice, one of two small, black leather, cube-shaped cases containing Torah texts written on parchment, which, in accordance with Deuteronomy 6:8 (and similar statements in Deuteronomy 11:18 and Exodus 13:9, 16), are to be worn by male Jews of 13 years and older as reminders of God and of the obligation to keep the Law during daily life. The name phylactery is derived from the Greek phylakterion, meaning amulet.

According to rabbinic regulations, one of the phylacteries is worn on the left arm facing the heart and the other on the forehead at the morning service (except on the Sabbath and festivals) and at the afternoon service on the Ninth of Av.

The tefillin are worn in a prescribed manner so as to represent the letters shin, daleth, and yod, which taken together form the divine name Shaddai. The hand phylactery (tefillin shel yad) has one compartment with the texts written on a single parchment; the head phylactery (tefillin shel rosh) has four compartments, each with one text. The extracts are Exodus 13:1–10, 11–16; Deuteronomy 6:4–9, 11:13–21. Reform Jews interpret the biblical commandment in a figurative sense and, hence, do not wear phylacteries. Because of rabbinic indecision about the exact sequence of the four scriptural passages, very pious Jews may have two pairs of phylacteries.

source

now how did I know that and how do you consistently get things wrong?
Here is what happens, when one misconstrues, the Holy Anointed One OF Israel, aka Yeshua Messiah, or, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, or, Jehovah's SALVATION, as BEING The LORD! The God OF Israel! Or? LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!

The title of which Jesus NEVER EVER ascribed TO Himself! "My Father who is IN heaven!" This is of an utmost distinction by Jesus, to whom the Father IN Heaven, thought it NOT ROBBERY "of", or "by" Christ, in His stating that "My Father and I, are ONE!" Also of which was noticed that Christ had the FULL EMBODIMENT of the GODHEAD "IN Him!"

Just the same, however, as Jesus stated that "No ONE, comes TO the Father, BUT, by Me!" As Christ IS the "sheep gate" INTO the "sheep's pen", WHERE, ones' Yoke, is made easier, and ones' Burden is made lighter, in Christ's "forgiving" of the "sin/s of the world?" The "mistake" made, is the ones' who fail in the "picking UP", of their individual "crosses." Feeling, rather content, in their leaving them right where they "laid" 'em. IOW, Happy just "seeing" the Father IN the Son, is the SAME as "BEING IN", "The GODHEAD!"

NOTHING, and I repeat, NOTHING, could be FURTHER from what "actually transpires", While "in the Pasture of the "Good Shepherd!"

Leaving a "word to the wise" here:

Luke 9
43 And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,
45 But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.
47 And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him,
48 And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
49 And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.
50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is FOR us.

For, do we not all look through a "dark glass" dimly?

In all cases? "Micro-managing" ones' who are not going or, following PRECISELY, as "another" may "see" it? Does more harm, then good!
