He does not say this is FAITH, does he? You are comparing apples (FAITH) to oranges (LOVE). You have fallen for a False Gospel.

SALVATION IS TOTALLY A WORK OF CHRIST, it is a DONE DEAL THE MOMENT YOU BELIEVE, a FREE GIFT OF GOD.

Thank you VCO, our faith is a gift of God that we receive the moment we are born again, we love because He first loved us and the love of God is shed abroad in our heart.

It's a psychology term, uh let me get my dictionary...Confabulation; Filling in gaps of memory by unconstrained fabrication. Merriam-Webster Medical Dictionary. IOW, It's a trick the mind plays on itself similar to the clinical meaning of 'denial.'

This is off subject, I know. So it will be brief. Does anyone else find that posting here late at night, gets you brain going to make it difficult to fall asleep? I know my mind does, but I found a solution. I have found a Mahjong game uses a different side of my brain, so I use it to unwind my brain, and it works. So after I am done posting for the night, I go to the mahjong game: http://www.247mahjong.com/ is my favorite, and it is free. If a Solitaire Ad comes up just X it out. Then to change the board layout click on the Picture of a house in the upper left, and change to one of the many other board layouts. It is a FREE GAME.

it's good to have zeal, but we must remember that God rested on the seventh day so we can follow that example and rest, and that is also why he gave the sabbath, sabbath is for man, God could care less about the sabbath if God doesn't care for the limited supply of human energy on this earth.

It's easy to be mamby pamby and preach Sunshine, lollypops and rainbows. Folks make a lot of money doing it but it's unrealistic. If we teach the truth, stand against the enemy and preach the word were gonna get stoned. The enemies hate the truth because there is no defense against it. The demon of confusion has a lot of influence among us. Please let's move forward to more productive topics in Jesus name!

I know that hell is bad, and do you know what I think the worst part is. The instinctual reflex of the flesh will make it worse (the impulse and how uncontrollable it is), and if this isn't reason enough to ask Jesus to spiritually crucify the flesh, then I don't know what is, that flesh need to be tamed at least.

Hell is so bad, if you think you can meditate, you'd be delusional. (and this is based on logic and deductive reasoning on how bad hell is)

the idea of hell can get people to lash out against you, however, it's better to get people to envy the salvation of the saved, it will put in mind "if they can be saved, then perhaps I can be saved as well"

For me love was a gift recieved from the holy spirit. That's how I knew I was saved. I had little or none before, suddenly I was overflowing with it. The night I was saved.

Good story, that is what the Holy Spirit does to a good person. That is why I say 'love' is part of the saving process. Without love, nothing happens.
