Nobody greater than Jesus.

Thank you Jesus for what you have done for us.
Thank you that you paid the price for us.
Thank you that you know us to the very core of our lives.
Thank you that by our faith and trust in you that we have been forgiven and by faith reconciled to our Father in heaven.

I have no idea why you would save a wretch like me.
I have no idea why you still love me when I mess up.
I have no idea why you seek me out when I go astray.

I really have no idea or an understanding of the AGAPE love for me.
Not sure I will ever get it but I suppose I have to trust in it.
Because it's true.
You yourself said it.
My Father in heaven loves me as much as he loves you.
May they settle in my heart so that your perfect love will cast out all fear I have in my heart.

Jesus I also pray that if anyone above resonates with the above then we all know the true depth of your love us.

Jesus you are greater than it.
Love and mercy found us, oh the blood of Jesus is greater than it all.

Where is the sin cooming from?
Are you walking after the flesh, or after the spirit. Please answer...
Ah yes where is sin coming from?

Are you referring to

Romans 8:1

Free from Indwelling Sin
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

What about

Romans 7:14-20
14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. 16 If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. 17 But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.

My assumption is that you would say for Romans 7 above is before Pauls conversion.
Granted my assumption may be incorrect.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Salvation is not by works, neither can it be perfected by works,

As a proof that the spirit of God LIVES in you, you’ll bear fruits of righteousness.. that cannot be simple for you i know..
Jesus knows the hearts of men. Nobody denies that we do good works. The point is, those works do not save us. Those who have repented and believed are already saved.

Hi DC my precious brother in Jesus.

I have been reading some of the stuff that has been said to you.

As you know in the past we have discussed how we (you/me) interact with people.
There have been times when I have expressed the words that you have written do seem harsh at times.

But I must say that is down to the good old English culture.
I wouldn't put things the way you do.
But as you know I have admitted many many times that I consider myself to soft.
It's not that I'm a pushover, and yes believe it or not I can be firm and get het up.

Over the last couple of years there is one thing that I have come to realise about you.

You do genuinely love people.
You love them enough to tell the the truth and it's always in love as a result of love and wanting to see people set free in Christ.

Jesus himself was so kind and loving to those who sought him out but was also harsh in his words towards those who tried to pervert his Gospel (which I think he did because it was the only way he could get his point accross to the brood of vipers)
As did the Apostles (you foolish Galatians)

You are a true man of God.
A brother in Jesus and a brother that I would walk with all the way.

A soppy "Love ya bro" from this side of the pond.

Bill
Brother......your words carry much weight with me and I appreciate your stance....maybe the reason Jesus chose and or chooses men and women of all temperament is for the sole purpose of balance.....I know I am stiff as and cut no slack to those who corrupt the gospel and for sure deal differently with people who are open to the truth or new to the faith.....Love you to brother and I for sure consider you a brother in the Lord....peace from this side of the pond HAH

Do you believe that you live a sinless, without fault or defect, flawless, absolute perfect life (exactly as Jesus lived) 100% of the time? What do YOU believe the gospel IS and what do YOU believe it means to BELIEVE the gospel? (Romans 1:16).
Obviously another sinless perfectionist...........If I may imply my postal brother in the Lord
I’ve said all that needs to be said, so you all can go along and argue with the word of God. But it just hurts me so much, how blinded people are, to the truth of the gospel, I’m talking about the word of God, someone is talking about my life, you folks can’t jujust accept how true and plain, the word of God is, when it comes to holy living, you bring in greek fables, just to support your devilish claim of being saved "and living in sin." (Oh Really?)

Christ came to give us a pure heart. Now if you have a pure heart, where is the sin coming from? Search the whole bible, it is talkinh about holy living from genesis to revelation..

Please just repent, believe inin Christ and "be saved from this "grace of the devil."
Hi User, your view of the bible is skewed, and your interpretations are inaccurate as well. You are "talkin about holy living", you do well, but Holiness is a "Life Long Pursut", you will never see perfection this side of heaven.

I say we are living in the "Age of Grace", and we are "Saved By Grace", yet your post is telling us to, "be saved from this "grace of the devil." Please tell everyone here what does this mean, "Saved from the grace of the devil."???

Quote UserX18, "your devilish claim of being saved and living in sin." And I do not know of a true Christian who is living in sin. Christians do not "Practice Sin", which in the bible it refer's to the likeness of someone making "a pathway" to sin, where your favorite sin will be readily available to you when the desire begins calling you. "Christian's do not "Practice sin", but if we do sin we have an advocate in heaven, Jesus Christ.

And lastly you say, "Christ came to give us a new heart." I will say this statement is very accurate and true. Please take a good look in the mirror before you start accusing our beloved brothers and sisters in Christ. Nobody clams "Perfection" here except you, and the rest of us are growing and maturing in the Lord,

"Perfect but not fully yet"

Psalm51:1
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Ezekiel 36:26
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Then Our lord and savior and brother told us that, anyone who does not bear fruit will be cut off, the fig tree was used as an example.
This topic of the cursing of the fig tree has come up before and used incorrectly as an example, for individually (and metaphorically) we are not a tree, but a branch grafted into the tree. The cursing of the fig tree in context was to show the passing away of the old covenant with the institution of the new covenant, for the Jewish sacrificial system of bulls and goats under the law is unfruitful in terms of saving anyone. The fig tree is often used in the Scriptures to symbolically represent Israel. Remember, Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem during what we call "Holy week" when this happened, and He knew He was going to be scarified as the true Passover Lamb, that men may be saved through faith in the shedding of His righteous blood as a propitiation for our sins. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And, It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

you see this because you fail to see this..

1 John 3:7-9 (KJV)
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

This was after this..

1 John 1:10 - 2:1 (KJV)
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

Yes we were sinners, have we being washed? Yes.. now do i go back too lying, because I want to job? Or go to marrying an unbeliever, or steal, or hate my brother, or steal, or allow the things of this world sway me? Or love the word..

You cannot pollute Christianity. I’ll tell you, those who will be saved will be saved, and thosee who will see the truth in these words will see.

Be it unto you, according to your Faith.

Sinless perfectionism is a lie. The standard for living is "be ye holy because I am holy" but nobody is without sin this side of heaven. Even the Apostle John wrote in "If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us."1John1:8,

No you need to repent; confess your sin and Jesus is faithful and just to keep on forgiving your sin until all true Christians are in heaven.

This is a terrible false statement,
Quote by UserX16: "just to support your devilish claim of being saved and living in sin."

Repent of your sinless perfectionism and God will forgive you.
AMEN brother.......keep swinging the sword....the enemies of Christ and the one true gospel are rank and file deep.......

I am thinking I have read this many times over by various people who have come and gone, returned, gone and returned.

But what all those people can never answer is..... Where is the exact cut off point? Without knowledge of the cut off point every believer is continually in a place of insecurity.

How many sins? What is that extra sin that tipped the balance and Jesus just could not bring himself to die for it?

This is the art of double speak, ........"salvation is once saved"........"being saved is not once but gained by abiding"

Well...seeing how breaking one of the least of the commandments of God = sin, guilty of the whole law and hell to pay......................

Thanks be to GOD for the imputed righteousness of Christ by grace through faith and the eternal justification that comes because of the blood being applied eternally through faith.....

Good, this is why the bible is complete.. let us go further to answer your question.

Romans 7:24-25 (KJV)
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Romans 8:1-2 (KJV)

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

You see.. so those who walk after the flesh will be condemned. It’s simple. Sin is a work of the flesh. Because the spirit of Christ cannot sin.

Now all those who want me to talk abbout myself, instead of the bible. 👅👅👅😝😛😜😂🤣😅

Repent and be saved. You need Christ.

All it takes is a moment to make us an unbeliever?

Moment seems a little vague though?

mo·ment
ˈmōmənt/
noun
noun: moment; plural noun: moments
  1. 1.
a very brief period of time.
"she was silent for a moment before replying"
    synonyms:little while, short time, bit, minute, instant, second, split second;
    informalsec
    "he thought for a moment"
Can you define it a little more according to scripture?

So you have never had a moment when you have acted contrary to the commandments?
Imagine the fallacy of that belief......Thomas, Peter, Elijah, John the Baptist all had moments of doubt or denial.........Even JESUS had a MOMENT....IF it be possible let this cup pass from me........

. . .
Yes we were sinners, have we being washed? Yes.. now do i go back too lying, . . .

Your MISTAKE, is you do not understand that POSITIONALLY HE sees us WASHED IN HIS BLOOD, and therefore our Human Spirit is HOLY after it is BORN AGAIN, but we DO LIVE IN A MORTAL WORLD with a SIN NATURE THAT IS INHERITED FROM ADAM. Our sin nature will be with us the rest of our MORTAL LIFE, and will NOT BE MADE PERFECT, until HE gives us a Glorified, Sinless Body at the Resurrection.

That is EXACTLY WHY PAUL WROTE IN, Rom. 7:13-25. You are STILL A SINNER on the outside, even though your HUMAN SPIRIT has been Washed in the BLOOD of the LAMB; every sin your Mortal Flesh commits your Human Spirit WILL WANT TO CONFESS IT TO HIM.

1 John 1:9 (NKJV)
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

homologeō is the GREEK WORD for we confess and it has one of the Greek Tenses that we do not have in ENGLISH, it means it is a CONTINUOUS ACTION for the rest of our lives, the Greek Perfect Tense. Which means we by our NEW NATURE will confess every new sin that you find in yourself, as long as you live. If you are not in the habit of doing so, YOU ARE SINNING.

Our human spirit the moment it was BORN AGAIN, was SEEN by GOD through the Blood of Jesus, which means it is IMMORTAL and HOLY.

Our physical Human Flesh has a SIN NATURE IN IT, that we cannot get rid of until we get a NEW GLORIFIED BODY. As the Human Spirit in HEART of MAN will Mature by taking in the WORD, and the more you take in, the FASTER IT WILL GROW. It will become dominant over the Mind of the Flesh (what lies between your ears), so that as your spirit matures: You will Sin LESS, and LESS, and LESS. That is Spiritual Growth. But INSTANTLY becoming Holy in the FLESH, is a FIGMENT of your IMAGINATION, and the product of a FALSE TEACHER.

1 John 2:4 (NKJV)
4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

AGAIN YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND HOW THE TENSE OF THE WORD keep EFFECTS THE MEANING OF THE SENTENCE.

It is NOT SAYING THAT MORTAL MAN CAN BE PERFECT, but rather: does not strive to keep His commandments. That Greek Perfect Tense Verb and I repeat, does not imply that man can be perfect, but his dominant characteristic will be to ALWAYS STRIVE TO KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS AFTER SALVATION.

Please Come to the Knowledge of the TRUTH.

Here is one of your "you" statements... it looks like a false accusation to me, as well. Bearing false witness is a sin. According to you, if someone sins, the Holy Spirit is not living in them.
