OF THE FEW
In days of decadence she
Rejects rites of vanities.
When wine as rivers deludes
Rulers and warriors; a siege
Of wickedness, waiting deeds
Of deamons’ta unleashed, goodly
Women keep humble peace in
Chambers, in royal courts: sights
Reckless times and will not be
A chosen statue to nigh
Beautify in history, these.
Instead ‘the death words, “Curse thy
God and die,” When the worst things
Come to pass, boldly (other side’a
The coin: humbly), with respect
Says, “God’s promises are not
Dead. Obey loved one – be blessed!”
Instead of taking Satans’
Character - “I will be yet a
Better God/better husband,
So I will steal anointed
Seats,” Becomes more her Father’s
Daughter, Obeying her man,
Her God, despite gossips, pure
Pride, rebel gals demanding
She do evilly so their
Flesh may be glorified yet
The more. So many lies sharp,
Poisoned, do ready hearts vile
Pour out: “Our wicked throne thee
Decry!? Be ye crucified
Oh woman of God! For we
Have queenly power, ‘deny
Thee your life.” She calmly Re-
-Plies, “My God can save me, from
Thy burning pier. But if not
I will only serve, true thus
Be, to my God – he whom sought
Me, my husband’s glory. Such
Is the kingdom of my Christ!”
Instead of using troubles
In her house, God’s blessed lady
Gently serves her love, “Thee my
Husband, forgive your son these
Things lest you convict thy own
Self. Let wrath pass, afraid be
Not. Our God is able, sights
Things so great you’ve not yet seen.”
.. “Let us not do minimum
Courtesy’s. Instead break forth
A feast. For is not this one
Sent from God? Angles might soar
Down in human guise. Let us
Bring unbound blessing to all!”
“Can we afford it?” - he - “Thus
Worry not, your Savior sees
All and takes care of all that
Concerns thee my handsome one.”
- Lays down her life; in the hands
Of the king places it: thus
She might save (Israel) man-
-Y more from death decreed’fer them.
Risks her neck to save babies
Puts her families needs above
Shows’ Christ’s humility, ‘stead
Of stealing authority
Washes feet Gives courage, does
Comfort, a pillar on which
To lean. ‘Stead arrogantly
Demanding her wisdoms be,
In faith, knowing her frailty
Seeks to please Him, serve as He
Served all and gave perfectly
His life for all... Not easy.
He did not say it would be.
