Halloween started out as "All Hallows Eve" which means the eve of All Saints Day, followed by All Souls Day (a two-day holiday to honor saints and all who have passed away - It was a catholic holiday). Somewhere in history, people started wearing scary masks while visiting the graves of their loved ones on that night because they thought it scared away evil spirits.... Then later on it became more about wearing scary masks, costumes and celebrating, and less about honoring the dead.

I always wanted to read Beowulf its an old Norse fantasy that was written in 1000 AD its about a man named Beowulf who kills a giant named Grendel and becomes king but eventually has to face the giants mother who proves to much for him. Its old mid-evil poetry
Milwaukee is a city and county in Wisconsin I was born in Milwaukee county in West Alice. Oktoberfest is a German thing with, drinking food and some kind of parade possibly lol not too sure never been to one.
I know wisconsin and milwaukee (hard to pronounce for me).... i just figured oktoberfest is a festival... the name gave it away, lol.. west alice is in wisconsin and your birth place is in west alice?
