sounds like both-- some possible unhealthy and/or abusive tendencies, and an obsessive witch-hunt. I think it would serve the best interests of the nation if Kavanaugh would give someone else a chance.
Over turning Roe v Wade is not gonna stop abortions - just as banning assault weapons is not gonna stop mass shootings.

19 votes for not guilty - yer not thanking straight.
just want to say I like your profile picture!Help us.
Correct. We already heard from one unhinged senator (Booker) that it does not matter whether the judge is innocent or guilty. The Dems simply want to shut Kavanaugh out by fair means or foul.I think he is innocent and agree with 1of......her story has too many holes and for sure the Dems will do anything to keep him from being appointed........

Now that she has been exposed as lying under oath .... well it does make me wonder who is actually not thinking straight?![]()

Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., Kavanaugh declined to say whether his life inspired the similarly named character who appears in the 1997 book "Wasted: Tales of a Gen X Drunk," written by his high school friend Mark Judge.
"I'm trying to get a straight answer from you under oath. Are you the Bart O'Kavanaugh that he's referring to? Yes or no," Leahy said.
Kavanaugh responded: "You have to ask him."
The character in Judge's book is said to have "puked in someone's car" and "passed out on his way back from a party."
, "Brett Kavanaugh stood up under oath and lied about his drinking and about the meaning of words in his yearbook. He did so baldly, without hesitation or reservation."
"In his words and his behavior, Judge Kavanaugh has shown contempt for the truth, for the process, for the rule of law, and for accountability," Roche added. "His willingness to lie to avoid embarrassment throws doubt on his denials about the larger questions of sexual assault."
Roche told CNN, "I saw him both what I would consider blackout drunk and also dealing with the repercussions of that in the morning."
"I didn't socialize with Brett," Roche said. "He would come home and he was incoherent, stumbling, he would sometimes be singing, he occasionally would wear this -- I think it was an old leather football helmet -- and he would throw up, and then in the morning would have a lot of trouble getting out of bed."
Yeah and I think Kentucky Sen. Mitch Mcconnel made a good speech about this bullying and intimidation tactic that is being used by the Democrats.Ford lied. just listening to her responses last week, if a person were paying attention, she exposed her false story line a minimum of 3 times. she lied about being afraid to fly, she lied about why she installed a second door, she lied about not understanding that she could have been questioned by the GOP in CA.
and apparently she has taught others how to sway the outcome on a lie detector exam.
that's just Ford. her backup singers have been all over the place and less credible then Ghaghis Khan saying he was employed as a tour guide and didn't mean to overrun all those countries
the Dem dongs said from the get go they would never vote to have Kavanaugh confirmed before the man opened his mouth and the dire lack of actual questions asked by them to the candidate is, as they say, conspicuous by their absence. all the background info on Kavanaugh...more than the last 5 judges up for confirmation for a seat on the Supreme Court COMBINED..means nothing to people who simply want to have THEIR pick for the Supreme Court and have never accepted Trump as their President
what has happened, is really no different from the KKK years back, deciding to hang people of a different color without due process and creating intimidation by burning crosses on people's lawns. there was no fair process then and the Dem dongs have done their best to try and create a guilty verdict for an innocent man simply because he is not valuable to their political process and burned their crosses on every lawn they thought they could
everyone has seen the same thing, if they took the time to involve themself and took an interest, and the same rift is still in existence between the two parties.
however, when the senior senator from one side says “I will oppose Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination with everything I have, and I hope a bipartisan majority will do the same,” and concludes with “The stakes are simply too high for anything less. " you will side with one party or the other unless you prefer to lie on your back and kick your legs in the air if it doesn't go your way.
Schumer was right about one thing...the stakes are very high.
