Solomons own house took 13 years while the temple took 7 years..

1 Kings 6: KJV
37"¶ In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif: {38} And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it."

1 Kings 7: KJV
1 "But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house."

Rev. 12:4 "And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born."

Note: This is not a future event like many say. This is the original fall before the Garden of Eden. Rev. 12 covers from prehistory to the persecution of the church.

That is how the following passage of scripture is usually interpreted::

Revelation 12: KJV
4 "And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. {5} And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. {6} And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. {7} And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, {8} And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven." 9 "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

I will add that i do not believe this happened at the time of the Garden of eden as the scripture says

Revelation 12 : KJV
{8} And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven."

This means that after this event satan and his angels no longer had access to Heaven.. We read in the Book of Job .. Which happened some time after the times of the times of Eden..

Job 1: KJV
6 "¶ Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. {7} And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. {8} And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?"

So satan still could travel to earth and back to heaven during the times of Job..

When satan is cast down to earth we are told he will be filled with anger because he will know his time is short... If satan has been down here since the time of the garden of Eden it cannot be said that his time would short..

12 "Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."

2 ¶ He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof was an hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.

This word also in the second verse leads me to the conclusion that the house called the Forrest of Lebanon was an additional house Solomon built after he had finished building the Temple and his home..

One of the latter Kings of Israel ordered that the Temple was to be repaired.. During this repair work the Book of the Law was discovered and it was brought to the King and was read to him.. This caused the King to tear his cloths because hearing the Law he knew that his fathers had not kept the Law..

What was the name of this King of Israel?

I do not believe the sons of God (In Gen. and Job) were angels nor did they mate with women. It somehow steals from the sovereignty of God. Even demons operate only within God's set boundaries. If Satan wasn't already fallen in Eden, why was he working against God. We need not discuss it further here. giggle.gif

I believe it was part of Gods plan to allow satan to do what He did and to do what he will do in the future up until the time satan will be cast into the eternal lake of fire.. God allows satan to do what he does and his angels to do what they do to cause them to demonstrate to the Heavenly Host why satans claim to Godhood is false and why satan will fully deserve Gods judgement.. I believe God created this universe creation, Us included as a place where He could show by demonstration why satan cannot be equal to God and why God Himself can only be the one and only God of all existence..

I believe God wants to save both Angels and Humans who will follow Him and acknowledge Him and fully accept Him as being the only One who can be God of all existence.. Not simply because He is all powerful and could just Zap anyone who opposed Him out of existence,, because His creations could still see him as being unjustified in being the one and only God, they would only bow to Him because they would know that resistance would be futile against an all powerful Being..

So i believe God allows satan to make his claim to Godhood and to demonstrate within certain restrictions on earth why his claim is justified.. satans frist act was to sabotage Gods creation in the garden of Eden by enticing humans to take on board the knowledge of Good and Evil.. This he did to demonstrate to the heavenly host how he could wreck the creation of God and force God to destroy the now faulty creation and thus demonstrate his power in defeating what God created.. i believe satan thought that if God did not destroy the now faulty creation then God could not claim to be a perfect God because God would be allowing imperfection / sinful / evil beings to exist..

so satan thought he had God between a rock and a hard place.. But God foreknew every move that satan would make and already had His plan to justly Redeem His creation in a way that would defeat satans plans and show to the Angelic Heavenly host the awesome wisdom and love and justice of God through manifesting in the flesh and becoming the perfect sacrifice offering for the sins of all who would believe God..

I believe satan and his angels will be used as an implement of Gods wrath upon those humans who reject Gods loving gift of salvation.. when satan comes down he will be filled with great anger and he will go out with his angels and he will bring great suffering to those not covered by the protection of God in the end times..

So all the evil things that satan does along with his fellow fallen angels act to bring condemnation upon them all as well as great suffering upon those humans on earth who are in league with satan.. satan has no love for humanity and has contempt for those who serve him, in satans final days before he is cast into the lake of fire he will do as much as possible to bring suffering and destruction upon earth..

So satan has been working against God but the more he has worked the worse and worse has become his own position.. Like a gambler who loses a bet and keeps on doubling up trying to win back his losses satan has gone to more and more evil and desperate options to win and every time he does the more and more evil and unjustified he has revealed himself to be and the more glorious and awesome has Gods responses to satans actions become..

I see God allowing satan into the garden of Eden as God giving satan enough rope to hang himself.. satan took the bait and was doomed from the very start..
