it's a draw, but both can agree that the earth is very big, and we can start from there
what flat-earthers fail to realize that very big, can make the curvature so gradual, it looks flat, which is ultimately the debate between truth vs perception
which can be another philosophical topic, how to distinguish truth from perception

we should learn to distinguish the difference between truth and perception
wrong perception can lead to misunderstanding and miscommunication
and, miscommunication can lead to something worse like false accusations and villification, at that point we would need to learn some de-escalation strategy, no matter how "fake" de-escalation may feel at that moment and time, we need to "walk by faith, not by sight (or feel)" for this
and the worse case scenario, is when we are at a point were de-escalation becomes impossible, and that we are "stuck" with the last resort that might risk escalating things further
if we can "nip it in the bud" that will help prevent a lot of unnecessary trouble

a shouting match is one of those things that entertains Satan the most, (infinity, no infinity plus 1, I win) what we would want to do is ask ourselves queestions like, if I'm debating against an artificial intelligence that's riddled with falsehood, how can the programming be rewired? metaphorically speaking
we cannot prevent many unforseen misunderstanding, however if we can ask for "clarification" and be like "assuming your position is right"
for example: if you think that there's no gravity, can you explain why engineers have to work hard on building helicopters, or dream of flying machines that can fly, or superheros that can fly, or why do humans find it difficult to fly if gravity doesn't exist, I do understand that it seems like gravity doesn't exist when you blow a dandelion and it spreads and flutters
it seems harder than we think, but the common denominator is, what incentivize others to hold on to false perception so tightly inspite of truth.
and if we can assure them that they "don't have to" keep going with that false perception, or "let go, it's ok", and if they have a goal, provide an alternative for achieving that goal. I cannot come up with a perfect strategy, only God is omniscient
and all we can hope to do is to reduce the effective influence of false perceptions
it's mainly the work of identifying the root of misunderstanding

technically, the "round earthers" (if we want to label people) are winning with scientific truth, the problem is trying to break though that unbreakable dome of willful ignorance

Anyone interested in the truth can don't his simple experiment. Get a go pro camera, a weather balloon and a parachute for the go pro and a GPS tracker. Send it up and them see your own pictures of earth from the rim of the atmosphere. Some high school kids did this in Canada it's worth the few hundred bucks to do it, the pictures are stunning.

Actually, it is now illegal to manufacture the traditional light bulb and now you can only purchase those new-age twisted light bulbs that start on fire when they explode.
I have never had one explode... but I can testify that they do not last 7 years or so (the new light bulb) … true story... I just changed the lights in my kitchen 1 mo. ago that were suppose to last for 7 years and 2 of 3 are burnt out... But at least I payed $7.99 instead of $1.99 and I made GE richer....

I don't know if it is in this flat earth thread or others, but you can find my posts that ridicule, mock, and make flat earthers seem stupid, but I have to tell you, I'm definitely starting to lean in that direction as well.
Many are attributed to this quote, including Einsten:

I was researching stuff on the Nephillim when I stumbled across some stuff on the moon landing and flat earth.
I think it's an easier bridge to cross to believe the moon landing was a fraud than the Earth being flat. But IF you can get across that Bridge, you may be able to cross the flat Earth bridge.
I am not quite at either place yet, but I can tell you, there are some astonishing facts related to both bridges that will shake you.
In today's world you CANNOT come out and say that you believe either, especially the flat earth belief. But please read the above quote again, before saying "no! I have those facts neatly packed away deep in my brain and I am NOT gonna even entertain unpacking those boxes".
I can give you some stuff if you are an honest skeptic. Remember, it was only a short time ago I would have never entertained such a thing. Almost as silly as believing God became a baby, with no human father, was tortured to death, died, and rose again!

Happy Friday! Good day talk about light hearted stuff. Or is it really light hearted? What if it's true that we have been lied to let's just start with the moon landing. What would happen if it was definitively proven that we never stepped foot on the moon?
Many people already don't trust the Government. And if it IS proven that we haven't gone to the moon, can our minds be at least open to the possibility that we have been lied to about a spherical globe World?
Well watch this short video. I am no expert in Van Allen Belts, or what is or isn't fatal radiation levels, or temperature extremes that we couldn't possibly have overcome. But please note what the NASA and International Space Astronauts are saying TODAY about how we haven't yet figured out how to survive exiting or reentry of the Van Allen Belts. (Psst!!! Read that Dome or dare I say, FIRMAMENT!)
