The tears of a broken angel
Worth more than rubies
Glimmers in the dark and tells a story of pain.
She sits by the window and sings her song of grief
Wondering "oh, when will it ever end?"
She cries through the night and pleads for comfort,
Her voice, broken by grief sings barely audible to the wind.

The tears of a broken angel
So innocent and pure
Glimmers in the moonlight and tells a story of hurt
Oh, how the tears so heavily fall from a face as clear as the moon.
She weeps and wonders if the pain will ever end
Singing her song that enchants the birds.

The tears of a broken angel
Oh how undeserved and pure
Wails in the night like a bird caught in a trap
She waits and allows the wind
Ease the grief in her heart.
Oh if anyone will hear her in the never-ending storm
And as the moon begins to clear out of the sky
So does her tears gleam with fire.

Thanks.... but i'll still keep my dreams on a low profile, lol

Here's an inspiring interview with the band that sings the moving Christian song, "WORN," and their powerful witness of how it expresses suffering in the moment and how to comfort those who are mourning.

Another inspiring story from Mandisa (Christian song "OVERCOMER") about enduring 3 years of suicidal depression and despair, crying out to God and not finding an answer right away, and discerning God's "voice," over voices of temptation, referring to the scriptures where the devil tempted Jesus in the desert. Her album is called "Out of Darkness." How she barely left her house for years, even locking her door when friends were knocking on it, and how her friend's eventual intervention (this is a good example of how to do intervention) saved her life. And Pslam 40: God "gave me a new song to sing."

One of the most powerful songs about living life to the fullest, fearing nothing, and the victory of life and God's love over all.

Very well written.. thanks for sharing, friend. Sometimes the sorrow is so overwhelming that it just flows out silently in tears and in a song. Blessings to you!
