If you judge the parties strictly on platform there is NO comparison as to whom you should vote for if you are a Christian.

On your point about secession, everything in my flesh screams YES!!! That's why I know it is wrong. We are called to love and share the Gospel. To be salt and light to the World. Isolating ourselves as Christians is not what we are called to do.

So as free citizens of this great nation, and to not squander our incredible heritage, we need to vote our consciences, and align that vote as closely as we can with the Will of God.


I did not know the origins of your screen name. Probably not such a great choice IMHO. Even IF the history is somewhat altered I can't see how he would have been a good guy to emulate.

You mentioned "to bring us back together as human beings". Are you willing to let the atheistic left have their way? For they are not willing to let you have yours. What would such a unity be based on? Jesus Christ and his finished work on Calvary!! with God, all things are possible!!

It is often said that if God doesn't judge this country, He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. And you know that ain't going to happen. We may well have lived out our purpose and are a nation with judgement next in our future. If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and seek my face, I will hear from Heaven and heal their land.

A Democrat in 1861 was nothing like democrats today. Same with Republicans. I vote Republican now but Republican was the party of Lincoln, who I don't really care for.

It's called history 101. What may be liberal at one time is conservative in another. A little history gives understanding in many things. But I am not surprised in what I run into.

What is different about Democrats today, veversus 1861?
Just as they kept men subservient to masters in 1861, so they keep men subservient to the master of government now.

The divide is now too great in America for any hope of a united 'peace'. The beliefs are too opposite. They are impossible to bridge. Republican's have shown they are not only unwilling to live under any Democrat government, but that they will do all they can to go against such a government, including violence.

I came to the realization more than 30 yrs ago that to be a republican one has to be ignorant or evil or some combination.

It is the left that has shown they know no bounds to achieve their evil agenda that strips away individual freedoms and only wants a group think mindset.

Collectivism has been histories worst nightmare several time over.
