A pillar of fire by night and a pillar cloud by day. I imagine these pillars were spinning like tornados.

Can’t remember who but it was destroyed by one of the reforming kings of Isreal . It had become a stumbling block.

Close. Basically he approached everyone that came to David for counseling, and said David was unavailable and offered counseling instead. He did this for 40 years offering his advice saying the king wasn't to be bothered. He convinced everyone that he ought to judge the land. :cool:

Yes, his head got caught in the fork of an oak tree while riding his mule. Then Joab ran some arrows into him and Joab's men finished him off 2 Sam. 18:15. :)

That was a good one because
2 Samuel 15:5-6 New International Version (NIV)says:

5 Also, whenever anyone approached him to bow down before him, Absalom would reach out his hand, take hold of him and kiss him. 6 Absalom behaved in this way toward all the Israelites who came to the king asking for justice, and so he stole the hearts of the people of Israel.

The doors of the temple in Jerusalem where covered in Gold..

Who had this Gold cut off the doors and to whom did they give that Gold..
