What laws do you think are broken by resting in Christ instead of working at the law in our own understanding?
I thought I just showed with scripture that it was none...?

A careful study of Paul's epistle to the Hebrews should give everyone the answer.
HEBREW 5
8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
This is where we need to rightly divide the Word of Truth. There are two distinct and separate aspects of the Old Testament (the Law and the Prophets) presented here.
CHRIST'S PERFECT OBEDIENCE AND PERFECT FINISHED WORK OF REDEMPTION
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil [THE OLD COVENANT].
EVERY PROPHECY PERTAINING TO THE FIRST AND SECOND COMINGS OF CHRIST
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law [THE OT], till all be fulfilled.
Unless we understand that the "the Law" can mean different things (depending on the context) we will be confused. So the various applications of "the Law" are:
1. The entire Hebrew Tanakh (the OT)
2. The Torah (the first five books of Moses)
3. The Old Covenant (Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy)
4. The Ten Commandments.
The whole point is that the Lord said He would fulfill the law.
Then He said not one jot or tittle would pass from the law until all was fulfilled.
Therefore, no one can say that some of the law is fulfilled but some of it was left for us to work at.
Either its all fulfilled or its all not fulfilled and we are still required to work at all of it.
I understand that the Word is multi-faceted and there is not ONLY this one meaning. But we need to at least acknowledge this one meaning before we can even attempt to discuss what you are getting at, in my opinion.

All the law of Moses.

As I tried to clarify Christ FULFILLED the Old Covenant and then said "It is finished". That is when the New covenant went into effect. We cannot add one iota to the finished work of Christ.
However, as I also pointed out, "the Law " can mean the entire Old Testament, and there are many prophecies in the Law and the Prophets (the OT) connected to the Second Coming of Christ and events beyond that (up until the New Heavens and the New Earth) which are yet to be fulfilled.
I would suggest not tossed out but rather rightfully divided as the shadows (the cerimoinal laws like the Sabbath from the substance moral laws. like thou shall not have no other gods before out living God not seen . To include the oral traditions of men seen called a law of the fathers.
As I never said that any law was broken by placing ones faith in Yeshua your first question seems pointless.
Now with a yes or no,
Are the following a sin, murder, theft, holding on to hate, lusting, worship of ideals, and homosexuality?
Oh feel free to give reasion for your yes or no answer as well.
Also I will answer all yes or no answers the same way.
I would think all forms of idolatry are sin.
But you said worship of ideals. There is an ideal that is worth worshipping and it is not a sin.
The ideal of Christ in us. The ideal of living a perfect Holy Spirit filled life.

The answer....NO ONE.....THE LAW has a purpose....that purpose is guilt and to point to the only cure.....THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST BEING IMPUTED BY FAITH WITHOUT THE DEEDS/WORKS OF THE LAW.....
All who place themselves under the law place themselves under GUILT and Condemnation because you cannot keep that which has already been broken........
Either law which condems or grace which frees....one or the other....a combination of both = false gospel of a different kind with NO POWER to save....foolish, bewitched and missing the mark!

I am sure most everyone would agree that what you name isn't an ideal. That is unless you warship and pray to a statue.
Moving on, Yes or No, Is sin a transgrtion of the Law?
Next, Yes or No, Should man kind seek out sin in their life, confess it, and work to remove it?
Yes, sin is transgression of the Law. But... not necessarily transgression of your carnal view of the law.
Unsaved men should seek out sin in their life and work to remove it.
Christians should not seek out sin. Christians should seek out Righteousness.
