C...,
Suggest you change bibles and study scriptures.
G-d is the one in charge of determining if you and I have met His standard of righteous.
In other words: looks like you are teaching salvation by works.

No, of course He didn't. That qualifies Him to be Baptized. Whether you never sin or repent and stop sinning are the only way a Baptism will be genuine. You and everyone there will know too. Because God will very loudly confirm it from the sky. "This is my Son in whom I am well pleased."
If that didn't happen then you may want to have another look at your repentance.
Just sayin.
that is true

You obviously are not paying attention. If you have read through all the posts you would have noticed that I do not preach salvation through works. Nobody earns salvation. Nobody earns faith.

Ironic, that is exactly what I did when God took over my life.
Changed from the NIV to KJV.
Started preaching Salvation for mankind instead of the horrible damnation.
And wow, what a difference it has made. Knowing God really is about
love and not hate as previously taught. It opened the doors to real
growth and real repentance out of respect. Instead of shame and
hate that was ignited from the fear that God was some merciless
mob leader that will punish you severely forever.

You can keep your theology. I am in love with the real God.
Because I now know He loves all people the same.

Not for the fun of it.
He never had much fun while here.
Place is invested with evil spirits and fallen angels.
Have you ever read a passage that says,
and Jesus laughed?
And Jesus smiled?
And Jesus took time to play?
I do think it was a powerful meaningful experience though.
So much so that God actually spoke out loud again.

:) haha how can you say that..
there is a scripture were it says that Jesus wept .. to me this means that God also had emotions..
when Jesus Said "oh ye men of little faith " did he said it with a vex face .. i don't think so.

that is why in this case i would say "not because His emotions was not written ...that mean to say it was never so";)

Jesus was baptized not for the purpose to get His name written in the book of life. Jesus is the owner of that book and the owner of heaven and earth.

Jesus name may not written in the book of life but He is the King there.
i think you misunderstood me about the "Book of life"

i would love my name to be written in the name of the Book of life.
but then again who wouldn't.

Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace you have been (past tense with ongoing present results) saved through faith.. From beginning "have been saved through faith" (Ephesians 2:8) to end "receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls" (1 Peter 1:9) salvation is by grace through faith and is neither "obtained" or "maintained" by works/is not based on the merits of our performance.
m...,
Being righteous is not .......works.

I believe every person name who is forgiven, in the book of life. Yes I like my name in the book of life. But Jesus never sin, so Jesus never forgiven. He is fogiver, so His name is not in the book of life.

never did i mentioned that Jesus name is in the name of the Book of Life or would be or should be, because we know He was without sin. the idea is should we not follow His example? Jesus did get baptized by John, if Jesus was without sin ... then why did Jesus allow himself to get baptized by john.

i see it as this .. Jesus is our Example.. and everything he did and taught us to do , we should do, or are you saying we should not do what Jesus did.

Jesus is our Example in some case, for Example His love is our Example. But we not follow everything He did. For Example He create heaven and earth, we never able to follow Him, create heaven and earth.

If we have time, It is ok to be baptize, but I do not believe baptism is the requirement for salvation.

Haha? The joke is on you. You should really re read what I wrote and think about it. You are completely embarrassing yourself. I feel bad for you and your lack of understanding what you read. If it wasn't really really off it might be funny. Seriously. I will pray for you.

oh so you think the Joke is on me right, (( im thinking = ( boy the way people Judge me... hands down on that ).

so what you are saying is .. that Jesus never laughed because its not written.? There are many things Not Written,.. for instance like did He go the bathroom everyday .. that also not written. i know that God must of had a sense of humor. we can debate that another time

but question remains .. is baptism necessary in order to be saved, no its not.. but Jesus put forth an example for those that are willing to follow can or may also be baptized, its a free choice is it not?

we have to keep remembering every time .. Jesus was here on earth in His Human form .. so ... thinks about that ..

of course we cannot create Heaven and Earth we are not like God.. never will be also.
Jesus came to us in His human form on this Earth, Jesus could of also been tempted to sin be He did not .. because He stood strong in the Faith.... so YES we can also be sinless.. Because Jesus Remained strong to be without sin in His humanly form... so if Jesus can do it ..then also can we .. after all Jesus is our example right.. He came not to destroy but to fulfill...He came to show us that we can also overcome sin and become sinless. you cannot argue that its not possible,... because it is.
