Hmm Revelation 2:20, really I wonder why that was used I do think you knew what I meant... indeed you got my spiritual ears listening.
Well in Acts 15 the disciples led by James made decision led by the spirit as Scripture says, that those "coming to the Messiah" were not to eat meat sacrificed to idols:
Acts 15:19-21,29 “19 Therefore I judge that we should not trouble
those from among the Gentiles (new converts) who are turning to YHWH, 20, but that we write to them
to abstain from the defilements of idols, and from whoring, and from what is strangled, and
from blood. 21, For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath. 29,
that you abstain from what is offered to idols, and blood, and what is strangled, and whoring. If you keep yourselves from these, you shall do well. Be strong!”
Then Messiah repeats this twice in Revelation, the final message to mankind, and not only was it the last given but it was written after all other NT books:
Revelation 2:14, "But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to
put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, so that they might eat food sacrificed to idols and practice sexual immorality."
Revelation 2:20, "But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and
seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and
to eat food sacrificed to idols."
It is written and the Messiah said it, I get a lot of accusations for pointin it out, Im not saying you will do this, but honestly it is the word and directly from the MEssiah...
