Because purgatory, as a place, which is what one religion teaches, has no relevance to the teachings of Christ.
When someone insists that all Christians must endure a place that does not exist prior to entering Heaven they're teaching what is considered by definition, heresy. And worse, they're blaspheming the Holy Spirit by claiming Jesus did not pay it all on the cross. And God's grace and plan of Salvation was not fulfilled there.
The Humanist pagan fictional place called purgatory, gives idol worship and human authority power over souls. It is satanic, not Christian. It exists nowhere in God's word.
ok so the place does not exist, and you know this how? did you go there, see nothing and now your back to tell us?
heresy!? whats that mean? it means a group of men got together and made this decision, such as the Nazarenes (the sect of Jesus) were heretics, or anyone that thought the earth revolved around the sun.
blasphemy against the spirit? ohh wow. not sure how to even begin on this one. so now we are perfect and never sin, if we follow this idea why not throw the commandments out as well, there is no need for them.
it exist plenty in the scriptures. Satanic??
thank you for providing the perfect example of what i was talking about.
the Essenes taught this doctrine, they were considered the most holy Jewish sect, John the baptist was one of their great teachers. and these guys, according to you were following Satanic doctrines. pitiful. . .
