simple easy common surgery..most peoplr wonder why they waited so long to have the surgery when they habe so much better sight after![]()
MEE too, That's not why I posted it. It seems to me many Christians have a myopic or glaucomic view of scripture and can only seem to focus on certain parts of scripture failing to accept the over all message of scripture. this is sad. Scripture was not intended to dissected and parts separated with some parts ignored and other parts worshiped. NO they were put into a collection of texts as a unit to be studied together, overall, in a panoramic overall view of what happened, what's happening now what's going to happen. who and what we've become and what we can become because of the central theme which is Jesus. The central message Is Jesus, how much he did so we can recover from our sinful nature. The cartoon character teaching the myopic kid in class was a parody of us trying to learn. We are the kid and its difficult for us to focus on something so far away. We need help. The Holy Spirit is our glasses and we need it because the overall picture is so far away from our worldly perception that its difficult to see without help. May gods spirit be our new glasses and help us to focus more clearly on what God wants us to learn and receive.Myopia = Near sightedness. Hahaha... That defines me. Eye problems. Cataracts, macular degeneration, myopia and chronic dry eye. The eye doctor told me not to drive at night because I failed the exam. Cataract surgery in the near future.

I opted of Medicare parts B and C for now but I know I'll need them soon. The V.A. will only cover eyes and teeth if one is receiving 100% service related disability and they've (or the military) has treated you for similar before, IOW if I would have gotten dental work while on active duty I'd be covered but I didn't so I'm not. same goes for glasses, cataracts and hearing aids. It's just a part of ageing but Medicare won't either so who needs it If they have V.A.? I really want a power chair but not some rinky dink junk that won't make it to the store. For a town of 100,00 peeps you'd think Lawton would have sidewalks and bus benches too on major streets but not.Good morning fellow peeps. Happy Sunday to everyone. Well calibob, I enjoyed services yesterday online. The beautiful thing about that is I can wear glasses and turn up the volume on my headphones. I think I explained why I am waiting for eye surgery in "conversations" a couple days ago. I am trying to balance co-pay for a hearing aid and eye surgery. I will try to find it for you. Would you believe this color is called brown in the hex-code names. Looks red to me.

At Earl Scheib we called this color Classic Maroon, we know it's just dark red.
My eyes are still good enough for now, auto insurance and upkeep is too expensive and unnecessary, I don't need to drive but I miss my bikes. My hearing is good enough my problem is with frequency and background noise my age again, unable to tune out noise and listen in a noisy place, I doubt if a hearing aid will fix that. My main worry is a job for Kristy the sneaky that congress cut Obama care was to lay of or part time the employees first so people will get fed up and drop it, That trick worked for Reagan and Swartzanager before but it's a disaster here, we only have one factory 100,000 peeps, I factory, Goodyear. Obamacare call center was a godsend to many here now there's fort sill and Walmart.I just recently purchased eye care insurance from my supplemental provider Humana. They will cover they eye surgery anytime. The same Humana sent me a one time offer for a reduced hearing aid, on a promotional. We had just moved and I had an extra $400 saved up so my boy talked me into going in for the exam. The cheapest high-end aid was $800 co-pay. We thought, good we can probably do that in a couple of months.
The exam will be good for six months, which will be up Nov, 6th. I am sure they won't do another exam. Meanwhile my boy quits his job, after a month working piecemeal, he gets another. But he is having to pay off a workforce contract. Right when the contract is paid up and he is hired permanently, he quits again because they won't give him a day off. For the last 2 and a half months he has hardly bought groceries while I have been spending $400 a month which he mostly eats. I could feed myself for probably $150 a month. I pay the AT&T bill which had $300 worth of cash rebates on cards, but we had to put the bill in his name. When the cards came in he just spends them all even though we agreed to split them. Plus, he already owes me #150 from straight out cash loans.
It beginning to look like the hearing aid is not going to happen, which I really need. I will have the cataract surgery. I am thinking of just feeding myself as I must see to my own needs. I tried being a nice guy but that is getting me nowhere.![]()

haven't been to the store yet. I'll try and remember but not in the habit of going to the milk dept for 40 years or so, for myself that is.I took a nap too from about 3:30 to 6pm. Felt good, I was tired for some reason. I don't think I have been sleeping well for some time. Calibob, I just remembered I didn't answer one of your questions: I am not on oxygen, not that bad yet praise the Lord. Did you ever try that Silk for your cereal? Time for my dinner.View attachment 188284
