except you are twsiting, trying to be justified by ones works is useless...

Doing His works is not the problem...

if seeking to obey His COmmands and having faith in MEssiah are so bad why is it

1. what satand fights against

and

2. what the saints do?

Revelation 12:17, “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of יהוה and possessing the witness of יהושע Messiah."

Isayah 8:20, "To the Law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."

Revelation 12:17, “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of יהוה and possessing the witness of יהושע Messiah."
There is no twist. You mix law and grace and try to sugar coat it.

Hebrews is clear.......the NEW supersedes the OLD.......the ONLY application of the LAW is as a school master to condemn and point to Christ.....WE are NOT UNDER IT...we are UNDER GRACE....
I agree..but isn't this whole bickering bout it law vs NT etc..isn't that all just a distraction from the FATHER and a relationship with God which is the MOST IMPORTANT THING THAN ANY LAW ABIDING despite WHERE you find it in the Bible? THATS what I'm trying to say..I'm not disagreeing with you..

We aren't to disregard the laws n commands all together but more importantly Jesus died to fulfill the laws and the OT prophecies..He changed the "game plan" and made things PERSONAL (relationship with Him) more than law abiding..

This is where I see the Catholic religion is doing a disservice to many people.its all about keeping the rules and traditions of the OT and not acknowledging the Nt :(
The Catholics make their own law/rules they do not teach His Laws.

Also yes Hebrews 7 shows the Levitical priesthood is disbanded and Yahshua is High Priest forever.

WIth that said, and I will keep it short as to not make a long post, 2 things:

1.Heaven and earth has not passed:

Mat 5:18, "I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh; the smallest of the letters will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1, "I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away."

2. Everything in the "IOT" is NOT YET fulfilled, I could give 20 pages of evidence butI will show the clearest example IMO:

THERE ARE 2 IT IS DONE STATEMENTS*:

Fulfilled already

John 19:30, “So when יהושע took the sour wine He said, “*It is done!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”

Fulfilled already
:

1. Passover/First-fruits – Yahshua's Sacrifice(Passover), burial and resurrection (First Fruits – presenting Himself to YHWH)
2. Feast of Unleavened Bread – Removal of sin by Yahshua's perfect work as the Passover Sacrifice
3. Feast of Weeks – The blessing Holy Spirit of YHWH, coming into our lives stronger than ever

To be fulfilled in the future:

4. Feast of Trumpets – Yahshua's return and gathering of the Saints
5. Day of Atonement – Yahshua leads the army of YHWH to destroy evil rulers of this world and satan is chained for 1,000 years
6. Feast of Tabernacles – Yahshua dwells on earth for 1,000 years teaching truth and righteousness
7. The Last Great Day – satan is loosed and swiftly destroyed, the Kingdom of YHWH reigns forever

To be fulfilled in the future
Revelation 21:4-8, “And Yah shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away. And He who was sitting on the throne said, “See, I make all matters new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and trustworthy. And He said to me, “*It is done! I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I shall give of the fountain of the water of life without payment. The one who overcomes shall inherit all this, and I shall be his Strength and he shall be My son. But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”

Jewel to sum up my view very fast, the Messiah gave us perfect example of how to walk in Yah's Commands, and Yah said to hear and obey Him Deut 18:18-19... He is the example.

Revelation 14:12-13, “Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the Commands of יהוה and the Belief of יהושע. And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Master from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, in order that they rest from their labors, and their works follow with them.”

None of us are perfect yet:

1 John 1:8-10, “If we say that we have no sin, we are misleading ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is trustworthy and righteous to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.”

1 John 3:4, "Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law."

1 John 2:1-2, “My little children, I write this to you, so that you do not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Intercessor with the Father, יהושע Messiah, a righteous One. And He Himself is an atoning offering for our sins, and not for ours only but also for all the world.”

1 Yahanan /John 2:3-7, “And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Yah has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning.”

Deuteronomy 6:5, “And you shall love יהוה your Strength with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might.”

Leviticus 19:18, ‘Do not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the children of your people. And you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am יהוה.”

Mat 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love YHWH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. (Deut 6:5) This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Lev 19:18) On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

Again none of us are perfect yet His way is right, if His Law is written in the heart how can one not desire to be guided by His Spirit to walk in His ways? Does not mean we will never sin, but it does mean we will seek His standard, and definitly not fight against it...
Isaiah 53:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

Can sin seperate us from the Father and His Messiah?

1 Peter/Kepha 3:12, "For the eyes of YHWH are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of YHWH is against those who do evil."

Proverbs 15:29, "YHWH is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous."

Micah 3:4, "Therefore, when they cry to יהוה He does not answer them, and hides His face from them at that time, as they have made their deeds evil."

Isaiah 1:15, “And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.”

Proverbs 1:28-29, "“Let them then call on me, but I answer not; Let them seek me, but not find me. Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of יהוה,"

Isaiah 57:17, "“For the crookedness of his unfair gain I was wroth and I struck him. I hid Myself and was wroth, and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart."

Proverbs 28:9, “He who turns away his ear from hearing the Torah, Even his prayer is an abomination.”

Well what is sin?

1 John 3:4, "Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law."

If "being without Law" causes the love to grow cold how could this not be a problem?

Mat 24:12, "And because iniquity will abound, the love of the many will grow cold."

“iniquity” is word # G0458 - anomia {an-om-ee'-ah} from G0459, Greek Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)
1) the condition of without law, 1a) because ignorant of it, 1b) because of violating it, 2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness

1 John 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yah, when we love Yah and guard His commands. For this is the love for Yah, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not heavy."

1 John 3:24, “And the one guarding His commands stays in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He stays in us, by the Spirit which He gave us.”

Luke 16:16-17, "The Law and the Prophets were until John, since that time the Kingdom of YHWH is preached, and every man is pressed to enter it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."
Yep and the commandments are LOVE GOD and LOVE each other...not 613 rules and regulations which cannot be kept by man.....nice try..,,,no cigar!

And where have I ever said we earn our salvation or anything even like that? I continually say He puts His Law in the heart (Jre 31 and Heb 10:16 and it is loving... see my sig)

John/Yahanan 15:5-16, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, produces much fruit; but without Me, you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away like a branch, and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and letting My words; abide in you, you will ask what you will, and it will be done for you. In this is My Father glorified: when you produce much fruit; and in this way you become My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you; continue in My love. If you keep My Commands, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's Commands, and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be complete. This is My Command: Love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: that one would lay down his life on behalf of his brothers. You are My brothers, if you do whatever I command you."

I honestly think there is a disconnetc in modern doctrine with the doctrine of the MEssiah, many believe His pre-cross words are done away, yet He says His words will never pass.

Absolutely sin separates us from God..that's why WE HAVE TO ASK FORGIVENESS TO BE RESTORED BACK TO GOD...and in doing that..He remembers our sins no more..as far as the East is from the West

Mixing law and grace by teaching salvation by “grace plus law, faith plus works” is neither keeping (guarding, observing, watching over) the commands of God or the faith of Jesus (which is descriptive of believers). I’m not surprised that you underlined “their works follow them,” which BTW does not imply salvation by works. :cautious:

Correction....sin breaks fellowship with God, NOTHING can separate us from God or his love.....there is a difference..........Grace is preemptive in a believer....Where sin abounds, grace abounds the more.....Read 1st John.....our fellowship may be broken by sin, but our standing as a son or daughter is not.....

Yet does grace/mercy mean no obedience? Or that we have been forgiven and it makes me personally gratefull..

John 5:14, “Afterward יהושע found him in the Set-apart Place, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, so that no worse matter befalls you.”

John 8:11, “And she said, “No one, Master.” And יהושע said to her, “Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.”

1 John 4:19, “We love Him because He first loved us.”

John/Yahanan 14:15, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

I am not perfect but when I think of His mercy it makes me want to live for Him...

Psalm 130:5, “I looked to יהוה, My being has looked, And for His word I have waited. My being looks to יהוה More than those watching for morning, watching for morning. O Yisra’yl, wait for יהוה; For with יהוה there is loving-commitment. And with Him is much redemption.”

Psalm 68:19, "Blessed be יהוה, Day by day He bears our burden, The Strength of our salvation! Selah."

Absolutely...God can't look on sin...but I didn't imply that we would no longer be son's or daughters or lose our salvation if we sinned..that's why I used the word "restored back'...

These are wonderful!!!

I think He does indeed put them on our heart, however this does not mean we dont study His word, it is reason to more, if it;s in the heart one would love to read and meditate on it!

John 4:24, "Yah is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth.”

Isaiah 59:21, “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” said יהוה: “My Spirit that is upon you, and My Words that I have put in your mouth, shall not be withdrawn from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” said יהוה, “from this time and forever.”

Mat 4:4, “But He answering, said, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of יהוה.” (Deut 8:3)
