We must distinguish between a poetical summary and between a real process
God/Jesus uses both..n SOME things we might NEVER know this side of heaven..
God made the big bang if that is how He did it.

So now, tell me exactly how God created everything.
You will say that everything appeared like popcorn, pop, pop, pop. (Popcorn theory)
That is not a real answer, but that is your only answer.
Evolution from God is a better answer that seems to be confirmed many times over.
All you can do is find a few problems in it that probably will be answered someday.

I suggest you read Genesis first 3 chapters. God created the heavens and earth. Then on successively days God created all of the living things. Old earth is a fable that science blows up. The web site s8int.com gives evidence that old earth is not factual. Why on a Christian site do people try to push big bang evolution?? It fails scientific evidence. C14 in diamonds etc. With millions years the half life would have it long gone. The supposed time for coal to be made is given a lie by a hammer found in it. On and on the issues prove a young earth. Five miracles are required to make big bang evolution to be done. Refute them if you can!!!

The New Testament denies theistic evolution.
- “For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.” (1 Tim 2:13-14)
- “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned— for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.” (Romans 5:12-14 – note that Paul identifies the reign of death starting with Adam)
- “Thus it is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living being’; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” (1 Cor 15:45 – note Paul is quoting Genesis 2:7 as an historical authority)
- “The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven.” (1 Cor 15:47)
The story in Gen 1 of how God created the elements is symbolic and not literal.
It took millions, billions, of years to create this place.
Not a mere 6000 years or 6 literal days. That is an assumption.
That was not disputable for 1000's of years but now with the ability to investigate the universe, we observe that things are not literal.
Actually by taking the literal view, you are discouraging people to believe the Bible..
The symbolic view that it is the creation of the 4 elements as ancient man would understand, proves the Bible to be right.
I'll pick #1 to start and work through it.
Heb 11:3, "...., so that the things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." (KJV)
(NIV) "...., so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible."
Paul says that the visible world is made from the world not visible.
In your reference website he says that the big bang was described by atheists as magic because it appeared from nothing, but that is how Paul says that the visible world was created. It was created from the invisible, so from the material world viewpoint, it was created from nothing, or something without material substance.
So the point that the b bang contradicts scripture is not valid.
Six days is an extremely reasonable conclusion to draw from the text. God confirms it in Exodus 20:4 where He says plainly, "For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them". No assuming required.
The 'four elements' idea is trying to fit obsolete debunked pseudoscience into Scripture.
#1 The vacuum expansion, material conglomeration problem.
The vacuum of space pulls in all directions in a generally uniform fashion except when influenced by mass.
When a star explodes and material is cast off, the material travels at varying speeds, not absolutely uniform, but in waves.
The gravity of the material within the waves, traveling at the same speed, pulls the particles together to form larger objects.
On our planet many mineral formations and crystals are formed in the same way.
If you have 2 objects in space that are near enough together so that the gravity is active, then the 2 objects will come together.
But the 2 objects need not be motionless for the unification to happen. The particles may be traveling at the same speed in a parallel direction to start with, as within the waves.
Or as is the case with suns and orbiting planets which are traveling in spirals towards the greater mass.

Except that in the Bible a "day" is not always 24 hours.

Heb 3:8-9, Day in the wilderness, 40 years.
It's the science that Moses used when he wrote it 3500 years ago. Of course it is debunked by evolution.
But the symbolism is not.
"In my father's day it took three days to drive across Australia during the day". Context always makes clear the meaning, as it does for the Genesis days.
Nothing can be debunked by a hypothesis.
#2 The star formation.
Gases do come together. As they disperse heat energy in the cold of outer space the molecular speeds decrease and allow the particles to conglomerate.
In the case where the material is dense enough they form stars, planets and such.
That is not what scriptures that I gave to you say.
The day of salvation started on Pentecost and continues to this present day and beyond. Centuries.
The day in the wilderness was 40 years.
Perhaps you would explain the verses as you understand them.
True, But the story in Gen 1 is confirmed by other historical evidences of similar stories of the creation in contemporary literature.

#3 Origin of life.
We agree that God created life. We disagree HOW he did it.
You believe the popcorn theory, everything "popped" into existence.
I believe that it took millions of years.

But, man has not proved, that it is impossible for life to come into existence by chemical reactions.
Therefor it may be possible that life did come into being by God's hand by chemical reactions.

At best, you can use these verses against the evolution of man from animals.
You cannot use them against evolution of animals or for other YEC views like young earth, literal 24hours days etc.
BTW, reading these verses carefully and in broader context gives quite an interesting insight.
Not really. Genesis is written in a narrative style as a statement of fact not symbolically like Daniel and Revelation. In point of fact evidence of young earth exists with science. Here is a site discussing the issue.

In addition there is a site htpp://s8int.com that points out with science all of the flaws with old earth. For instance C14 exists in diamonds. It's half life would mean it should be gone in millions of years. Page 3 of it is about OOPARTS (out of place artifacts) demonstrating a young earth. For example a hammer found embedded in coal. Science proves young earth!!

Methinks you choose to ignore the first part of Genesis and ignore God claims there to have created all of the animals in one day. That is backed up by the Cambrian explosion with the fossils of thousands of animals created at once with absolutely no evidence of evolving from species to species.
You ignore the fact that currently we have studied DNA in detail of man and many animals. DNA is an extremely long double helix of proteins coded in a quaternary code defining the organism it is from. That massive amount of intelligent information could never happen by chance. DNA has built in resistance to change with redundant information. It thus prevents the changes required for Evolution. Keep in mind that when Darwin wrote his book all people knew about cells is from viewing charred wood to see the squared cell structures. It reminded them of the cells monks lived in and thus was given that name.
With this science backed evidence you need to rethink evolution as fact.
