I believe that humans evolved from a more primative appearance..not apes but hairy men..if man was made in Gods image i hate to think if God as an ape..but i think through environmental changes that man had to go through he had to adapt n because of that..so did his looks...animals as well..
I do not know, I am agnostic about this.
I am more inclining to believe that our body is from animals and our spirit is special (and mental capabilities), so there was some special work of God in Adam. While my organs and other bodily function, hairs over body etc are very similar to some animal precedent, my intellect is obviously higher than that of a dog and my soul can relate to God in a special way.

Not at all, you were asked a question concerning the faith, your faith. Which is it, do believe you evolved from primates or do you believe God made you distinct and separate from them? Simple do you believe Adam was a primate who evolved or do you believe what the scriptures say?
There were lots of other people around when Adam and Eve were born.
But Adam and Eve were the first 2 people with a human soul.
That is, they were the first 2 spirits who were in a covenant relationship with God to have their souls redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
The other creatures, "almost human souls", did not have knowledge of good and evil as Adam did. That means that they didn't need redemption for sin as Adam. Animals have spirits, but do not need to be redeemed for sin as the human souls in the covenant do.
When Cain left Adam he married into one of the many tribes on the planet that did not know or worship Jehovah.

I like your answer, reminds me of a computer got to have all the parts created and in place before supplying the electricity for it to come to life fire up and work.
Understand that the Bible centers on Jesus and the human souls, not the entire gentile planet. So when it says the first 2 souls, it doesn't mean people, it means souls in the covenant.
I belive the ancient texts were paraphraised by the translators. man and woman kind were created on the 6th day alright God rested the create Adam and Eve afterwards like the 8th day to take care of his garden. Created with more purpose than before. better than before. No missing link between prehistoric man and us can be found because there never was one. I believe modern man was created between the last ice age and the flood of Noah.

I became a christian because I DIDN'T believe what they taught me at church. Not Santa Claus, holy water or the eternal virginity of Mary or praying to saints. Nope, fairy tales. The creation story (Gen 1) is mainly about the creation of the 4 elements, air, water, earth and fire. Light is not considered an element because it is not firm, without substance, in the view of ancient man.
The time periods are not literally 24 hours. A day in the Bible is not always 24 hours. It is just a time period.
The confusion comes from taking the symbols in the modern sense.
The story and symbols are written so that every person would understand it from an ancient uneducated slave to a well informed modern scientist.
For 1000's of years the story was taken as literal. But with modern knowledge, it seems that it is not literal.
If you say that the story is literal, investigation shows that it cannot be correct.
But if you understand the symbolism correctly, then it is true.
Being symbolic doesn't make it false, only that the literal interpretation is false.

Plus It is not a new idea to understand that Gen 1 is figurative or poetic. Scholars have had many and varied ideas about the account of creation.
This depends on radiometric dating, which is based on untestable hypotheses and is demonstrably unreliable.
