Ever had fry bread? It's symilar to tortillas & pita bread it sounds perfect for the recipie you quoted. I love mild to medium salsa verde [the green kind] for the veggie flavor, oh, and sour cream only I never brush or sprinkle cheese. I slice, melt & bury with it
Yeah..forgot that part..dollup of spur cream n sprinkle of cheese on top of salsa chicken..lol n no..havent tried fried bread

Anaheim, Cali.
It's alot like flour tortillas, native american style. I don't know how they make it, it's not greasy or oily. Here you can buy Indian tacos w/ bison, cucumbers 'n creme folded in fry bread like a a big taco. But bison is expensive, super lean, tastes like beef 15% fat I think. Everything I like has a calorie price. Usually in the sauce, dressing or creme. Deade might know, he loves 'em too.

Yup..theres a good place here that makes them but the meat is kinda greasy..
That's because of the meat it's a mix of goat & lamb, Bison [american buffalo] is more like very lean pulled beef, I hear you have to add olive oil to keep it tender.

think of a mexican/american gyro with shredded lean beef, tomatos & chilis, creme sauce but it's a taco so condiments galore!

The store bought I got in Cali was nasty. The fresh lamb I had in WY was good. It has a gamey taste like venison, elk and moose. But if one knows how to cook it, It was good. my youngest son loved it.
