Scripture alone determines what gives glory to God unseen.
The proof is tongues. God brining his word ...
I'm just wondering... when God brines His word, does He use natural sea salt....

Story time. Dreams and visions are for Israel not for Gentiles. Dreams and visions are part of the latter part of Joel's prophecy again for Israel.
Tongues were for Israel and not for today's Gentiles.
God softens hearts not stories of legions of angels. The Holy Spirit ministers through the word of God.
Just what message did the guy receive? A message from you or a message from Gods word?
I always love it when a message comes with a threat. Believe or be condemned according the teller of the story.
How about we do what God commands and simply testify of Christ and declare the word of God before a lost and dying world.
For the cause of Christ

I would offer. God is no longer bringing any new revelations as prophecy after any manner to include dreams or visions .He adds a warning at the end of his book of prophecy the Bible to those who go above that which is written.
Satan is still brining lying wonders. Human experience is not the validator of the spiritual unseen world .Scripture as it is written alone is. If human experience was a way of understanding God not seen than the Son of man failed.
Agreed, God is not adding to Scripture. However, He is still speaking to people outside of Scripture, giving guidance, comfort, encouragement, and insight. His "extra-biblical" messages don't contradict Scripture, but Scripture was never intended to tell its reader whether to study mechanical engineering or civil engineering (for example). God may use Scripture to answer a question, but that particular application would likely be meaningless to the next reader.
Funny how non of the nay-sayers had anything to say against this.I'm going to re-post this from earlier...
I had an acquaintance years ago who we'll call 'Bob', friend of a friend kind of thing. I didn't know much about him but I knew he was mad at God. He and his girlfriend had been considering becoming Christians, but before they could decide she died. Bob was angry that, if there was a God, He would take her before she had made a decision.
So one night I'm alone praying and my prayers come to Bob. So I pray in English, Lord, I lift up Bob, and his anger and yadayadayada everything I know to pray about Bob, in English.
But then, my mind and heart stay on Bob, but I start praying in my tongue. And while I'm doing that I get this vision of these legions of angels rushing into a cave or tunnel ... One after another after another after another ... flying into this cave.
The next time I talked to Bob, I told him about this vision. He got silent, then said his girlfriend had died in a car wreck under a freeway bridge. I said maybe he shouldn't be so sure she hadn't decided.
And while I only talked to him once after that, it seems that he took that message to heart.
It's 1 Cor 14 in action:
Pray in your understanding.
Pray in the Spirit, and receive understanding.
Intercede directly with something you have no earthly knowledge of
Be edified by the humble use of yourself to edify another.
Now, Zone, I advise you to consider the lessons of Mark 3 and Luke 12, and THINK VERY CAREFULLY before you respond. Demons don't do things to soften people's hearts to God. And Christians don't say things that soften people's hearts to God are demonic.
Funny how non of the nay-sayers had anything to say against this.
I think you need to go re-read that, this time with the intent to listen instead of confront. Because boy did you ever miss that one.Tongues are supposed to heal people not to kill people according to you, saying your tongues are effective and someone dies doesn't even sound right. Still fake- a muslim/an atheist/a hindu would say such a story and claim their god did it.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, said the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was an husband to them, said the LORD: 33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, said the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, said the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Oh it's the old "you're not a reliable witness" claim? Good, you'll vouch for that to a judge the next time I need to get off jury duty then?I mean, that can not be proof for anything. Think about it.

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.Mathew 4:1-10
Out of the body, which in reality is lying spirits bringing in lies or near death experience is on the rise today . It make me wonder that when Christ does come as a thief in the might will he find faith as it is written or those walking by sight after the things seen ?
I agree God is not bring anything new; other than to those who have not heard it for the first time, that is new to them.
If you have heard it once, and then you are hearing it again, that could be confirmation . That is why we judge what is being said, in the light of what is already written in the word of God.

If someone says I had a dream or a vision or what some call an out of body experience or near death experience that they say confirms as a sign they have the Holy Spirit. We are to believe not.
No not at all. And anyone who tells you that is wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.i will bite.
so are you saying the Most High will not answer prayers unless we speak in the angel language?
No not at all. And anyone who tells you that is wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.
The only thing it does is it allows us to speak to things we have no idea are going on. There is power in thought, as in when we pray silently to ourselves. And there is more power in the spoken word. Praying in spoken English or French or German or whatever is no less powerful than praying in tongues. But they are limited to what we know. Tongues allow us to speak words about what the Holy Spirit knows. Like the example I shared, I had no clue as to how this guy's girlfriend died. But the Holy Spirit knows. And in praying thru Spirit over them, I received knowledge of something that pinpointed a thorn in Bob's soul. Would it have happened if I had just said "and Lord take care of all the things I don't know to pray for"? Maybe. Maybe not. What I do know is, thru the tongue, that it was taken care of right there and then.
So no, it's not that God won't answer prayers in our worldly language. Tongues just allow us to be a little more focused and specific towards things we don't know about - but He does.

It amazes me, God says 'do this and you'll see that' ... so you 'do this and see that', and Christians will just line up to tell you why it is wrong. Rather than take the Bible at it's word.
I wonder how God feels about being called an unreliable witness?
No not at all. And anyone who tells you that is wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.
