This screecher and I do mean screecher is doing more harm than good. To echo the words of the Lord to condemn on a loud speaker is not by the Lord.....just saying.
Jesus came to seek and save. Any Christian that thinks he is better than those he is preaching to is sadly mistaken and puts himself in the crosshairs of being judged himself.
We are all made of the same dirt, we all have dirt inside us. For those who have responded to the call of Christ it was by the grace of God that you heard and were saved.
The practice of any sin is a abomination to the Lord. Remember these are people that have been blinded, lied to, brainwashed, ect. As once we were. I not just talking about the gays but any that are not in Christ.
Jesus said love your enemies.... Paul said we war not against flesh and blood.
These people are not our enemy.....the true enemy is the one and things that keep them blind.
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Look at the person and not the sin, let the Holy Spirit do his work.
We are called to preach and teach...not to convict and save.....that's the Lord's job.

Not calling sin, sin is not helping them either.
DissilyMordentroge, This person came with rebuttal. If they can't take it they will stop coming with the remarks. God uses people to tell other people sometimes when they are wrong.
A demon? Really? I suppose if you are one of the people who think every sin is caused by a demon, you could look at it that way.
How about the demon of lustful thoughts? (thanks SeoulSearch) or the demon of gossip? Or, the demon of gluttony?
Homosexuality is a sin, like many other practices are... humanity is flawed... since the garden...

It is demons, when Jesus was here he cast out many demons. The apostles did too. That was suppose to continue, but it didn't. If it was just sin they could stop. Who do we wrestle against, flesh and blood?

Given several recent posts demonstrating mindless adherance to fundamentalist doctrine I'm beginning to suspect the greatest gift we are given (after love), the capacity for rational thought, has been drowned in a pseudo-theological swamp by those convinced without justification of their firm grasp of innerant truth. Humility doesn’t come into it. The central lesson we should all gain from a reading of Job is that we are all forced to continue with mystery not a vain delusion we know The Almighty and all that he/she/it may be.
It may provide many prone to love their own gender with a deluded comfort that homosexuality ‘comes from a demon’ given it lets them off the hook. “Satan made me do it” is the weakest defence their is. Not that I suggest anyone attracted to their own gender needs to defend themselves other than against the hate filled homophobia of fundamentalists wilfully ignorant of serious biblical scholarship not to mention modern psychology.
Could you difine ‘screacher’ for us please. I gueesing it may mean something like an hysterical preacher.

For once try and step outside of your safety zone and ask yourself why it’s so terrifying to imagine ‘scripture’ may not be innerant, may be riddled with mistranslation, expurgation, forgery, and heaven forbid, may not be the ‘Word of God” but a vain construction by members of our species suffering the delusion they’re in a position of speaking for and on behalf of the Almighty. In other words at it’s most extreme so called ‘Holy Books’ could all be potentially, if not actually, blasphemous.
I could bore everyone by giving a long list of biblical passages that contradict each other but the faithful have always managed to skirt around that one with the usual apologetics, a formal discipline ( if you can call it that) established ages ago by the church to obfuscate the many absurdities within scripture.
Instance :
EX 21:23-25, LE 24:20, DT 19:21 A life for a life, an eye for an eye, etc.
MT 5:38-44, LK 6:27-29 Turn the other cheek. Love your enemies.

Homosexuals were stoned to death in the Bible, so I think they should at least get a prison sentence in our days. Perhaps some hard labor on a chain gang in the blazing hot sun with a regular wiping, should drive the filthy wicked urge to commit Sodomy out of them.
Have you any idea how much of your own psychology you are unwittingly revealing here? Oh, and by the way, not all homosexuals indulge in sodomy. If you want to fantasise they do, be my guest.

That takes us back to anyone without sin cast the first Stone, even if we are not intentionally sinning. We sin in our thoughts.

I can see how that attitude is going to draw people to Christ.
Mosaic law was intended for Israel which Jesus ended. The aspects of Mosaic law was only for the Mosaic law time period imposed upon Israel. The OT law also says to kill murderers, people who work on the Sabbath, adulterers, kidnapping, witchcraft and sorcery, sins against parents, (which is why Calvin beheaded a 10 year old), offenses against God, treason and rebellion, sacrificing children, sexual immorality, and at times, manslaughter.

I tell you this in love. It does nothing for me to tell you these things. It's the truth, no matter how anyone try to justify it. I have told you and now I will let you be. When your in sin, you are blinded. The only way to see the truth is when you get out of it. Gay people think that that is just the way they are. It is a demon, sent to corrupt that person to keep them away from God. We are in a war. Good and Evil. Love You, and God Bless.
