This gave me an idea
Go on a cruise, get married and have the wedding and honeymoon combined with all our friends and family.
I pick a cruise sailing December 23rd. That would be a real life shipping! Who is available to get married at Christmas? I guess we could have multiple weddings when we are at it. Will save some money, too.
(No kidding. I have already made plans for the cruise. The wedding will just be a minor add to the budget)

That's the perfect time for the Caribean too cold for hurricanes but the air & water are comfortable. Cabo San Lucas, Baja Mex. too.
My parents didn’t get married on Valentine’s Day, so that “EVERYONE gets married on V-Day” comment is invalid.
Probably from where you’re from - the people I know usually get married at the end of the year or beginning of the year, due to the seasons (Summer and Spring are popular).
