Lol..yes tumeric is good for a lot of things..but hard to get the real stuff in capsukes..i got the powder and its very pungent..could only tolerate it in scrambled eggs
Indian and S/E Asian foods (if cooked like they do there) are highly spicy but you should be able to find recipes that are toned down to match the western palate. I ate at a local Indian restaurant a couple of years ago and on the menu you could choose between "mild" "medium" or "like we make it at home". I made the fool mistake of ordering the latter and found they should have served a fire extinguisher along with it.

I just heard on the radio that spicey foods are not good for a persons body..liver..intestimes..stomach lining etc and even some of the schools are taking out things like flamin hot cheetos out of thier snack machines etc..thered been a nation wide study..lol
You mean they found out something that BURNS YOUR MOUTH is bad for you? Wow! Nobody would have ever guessed that. I mean there were just no clues at all that spicy stuff could possibly be detrimental...
Quote from my stepfather about spicy food: "If I wanted to intentionally inflict pain on myself I could hit my hand with a hammer or stab a fork in my eye or something."

We had some strange Indian chicken dish for dinner tonight that came in a kit. It was very spicy and hot. It came with these little pieces of apricots that you couldn't even taste, all you could taste was the spice. Chicken chunks were dry. Rice was good though. It came with little pieces of chopped asparagus and these almond slivers. My wife asked me how I liked it. Told her that I guess that I didn't get the joke. Just another adventure with cuisine.

I was raised in west texas. Tex-Mex. Everything had jalapenos or some kind of pepper. Including vinager pepper sauce you put over your corned beef and cabbage. I guess it depends on how you was raised. I enjoy Indian food and use turmeric and ginger regularly. Some of the strongest anti- inflammatories The good Lord made.
Here's a tip for hot food. Milk or sugar will kill the heat. Water makes it hotter.
for potential, what if Christians have the potential to win the highest jackpot and donate all that to the church, but that Christian doesn't believe that winning that kind of lottery is possible because the odds of that is so low
