I had many questions like you when I was a new born babe in Christ. <-- how did your question get answered, and what simplified your thinking, and how did a mass amount of questions got reduced?
in short, what is Christianity all about? aside from all the questions we can ask about it
like, God draw us to salvation (John 6:44), then we were led to place our faith in Christ, and we were being told to enjoy God's love, and somewhere in between, and "serve God", and eventually, ascend to heaven to see God

It is you who will be found wanting once you find out that your wonderful works will not save you. Your counterfeit gospel is nothing more than "Cainology"
And what's the big secret about "Which Church denomination you are affiliated with", is there something you do not want people to know about you? Everybody wants to know.
Your counterfeit gospel does not even sound true just a bunch of shifting sand with no security of the believer.

As i said, this is just the other side of the same coin, no one who truly repents and comes to christ in humility thinks they will be ok to go out and sin all they want, maybe you think people who come to try faith can do this, but it comes from gnorance of true repentance and grace.
Again, if i think as long as i do not commit these grave sins, i am ok, i have made it, what i will tend to do is ignore my sins and rejoice in them, ie, i am not like these sinners, so i must be ok, can water down the law and i am good.

You need to get involved in a Church where the bible is being taught and then apply yourself to God's word and the opportunities that you will find there. Many Church's will offer a 12 week, "fundamental's of the faith", Sunday School Class, I went and found this to be very helpful to become rooted and grounded in the Faith.
If you can do this there will also be opportunity for fellowship and time to answer some of your questions. Always ask God and the Holy Spirit to guide and lead you. You may have a friend who knows of a bible teaching Church who can help you to locate a quality Church where you can "grow and mature.
You are asking all of the right questions to help you grow as a believer, do what ever it takes to find a bible teaching Church and you will be fine. There are well meaning people on this thread who are so far a foul of the truth it is just disturbing to even listen to them, so be careful.

You are a new believer, and you were instructed by TT in post 67,767. That is good instructions. TT is one of the good guys,
so listen to him. Come to a firm belief that Jesus is the Christ and believe that he is the Son of God. When you believe this and the Holy Spirit comes to you, you will have a door opened to the life that Christ lived that will be an amazing path to walk. Your life will be a shining example and others will see your good works and you will glorify your Father in heaven. May the Lord be with you in your walk with him.

Could it be, that you are from a LOVE ONLY, easy believism Church that is at best, a borderline FALSE GOSPEL; is why warning people about HELL is foreign to you?
