Who are you to pass judgment on me and the other wonderful Christians on this thread. Pure arrogance in real time. The last thing God wants to do is raise up a bunch of prideful, self-righteous, would be Pharisees, because we all know where that road leads. There is now, "no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus", our Lord and Savior.

IT’S DISAPPOINTING TO LEARN THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE CLAIMING TO BE CHRISTIANS CLING OR TRUST MAN MADE DOCTRINES MORE THAN THE TRUTH IN THE SCRIPTURES.
2 Timothy 3:15-17 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
THESE SELF-PROCLAIMED CHRISTIANS WOULD REJECT GOD’S WORDS, LAWS AND COMMANDS TO DEFEND WHAT WAS TAUGHT TO THEM BY THEIR CHURCH LEADERS.
Mark 7:6-13 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you HYPOCRITES; as it is written: “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; THEIR TEACHINGS ARE BUT RULES TAUGHT BY MEN.’ You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men.” And he said to them: “YOU HAVE A FINE WAY OF SETTING ASIDE THE COMMANDS OF GOD in order to observe your own traditions! TO THEIR SHAME, THESE PEOPLE CLAIM TO KNOW GOD BUT BY THEIR ACTIONS THEY DENY HIM.( titus 1:16)
THEY CLAIM TO BE ETERNALLY SAVED ALTHOUGH THEY ARE DEAD IN THE EYES OF GOD (rev 3:1-6)
THEY NOT ONLY APPROVE OF THOSE WHO MOCK GOD AND TRAMPLED THE SON OF GOD UNDER FOOT.(psalms 49:13-15)
Hebrews 10:28-29 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?
BUT THEY EVEN PRAISE THE ONE WHO CALLS JESUS “CURSED" WHILE MOCKING AND INSULTING THOSE WHO PROMOTE OBEDIENCE TO GOD AND HIS WORD THROUGH THE GOSPEL OF OUR SALVATION.

Because of the increase of wickedness, THE LOVE OF MOST WILL GROW COLD, but HE WHO STANDS FIRM TO THE END WILL BE SAVED . And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
MANY WHO HAS FAITH WILL TURN AWAY FROM THEIR FAITH.
ARE THEY STILL SAVED AFTER TURNING AWAY FROM THEIR FAITH(ALONE)?

Matthew 24:9-14 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time MANY WILL TURN AWAY FROM THE FAITH and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, THE LOVE OF MOST WILL GROW COLD, but HE WHO STANDS FIRM TO THE END WILL BE SAVED . MANY WHO HAS FAITH WILL TURN AWAY FROM THEIR FAITH.

The most salient point is to accept that belief........ one must negate G-d's authority to pass judgement on our righteous earthly life after we die. That, in addition to violating several other clear scriptures against such belief.
It is pure apostasy to think that way and render G-d's authority/judgement...nil.

I did not even ask God to come into my life or profess Christ or anything when God revealed himself to me.
He gave me everything I have as far as a spiritually alive individual goes. Almost 20 years and I still have days where I am beside myself at the things I desire and the truth that has been revealed to me, and EVERYTHING else contained in my testimony.
I could not deny God and his word in my heart if my life depended on it, and I criticized Christians for their stupidity before. I can not not study, want to glorify, believe, love, desire to please him, and many other things I never asked for or set as a personal goal.
It is a classic case of irresistible grace. The Holy Spirit has been imputed but not imposed because it is no imposition but joy. I never asked for this unt it was already in motion and I asked because that's what I heard you had to do....then I studied and studied and studied because I wanted to know why and what is my purpose and calling. The truth was revealed to me at the same time my testimony was revealed to me. Calvin may have done some bad things, but he knew the truth about the sovereignty of God. (not saying every single teaching of Calvin is on the mark).
Anyhow, I have been chosen, drawn, and all the other good things that come with salvation. My salvation has been sealed in Christ since before the world was, and nothing but God is able to chang that. Period.
We predestined believers are able to love God freely and serve him in joy and unity because he loved us enough to handle what we couldn't, and we are humbled and grateful for that. Let me repeat this little ditty I read some time back, don't know the author, but let it sink in and take a break from that cunning self righteousness you use as a weak shield for security.
Only when one lies fallen in the dust in complete humility can they see clearly that the fallen state of mankind everywhere is not primarily in need of an example, but a savior.
Get with the program and throw away those dead works of self righteousness.
