What are you saying here? His commandment is to believe on whom the Son sent. And to love one another as He loves us. He explains that in v5. I have no issues with that.
But let's go deeper John is talking about knowing the truth and walking in the truth. These are two different things. There is a process of maturing in Christ. This is why discipleship is so important.

1 John 1:6 - If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. What you BELIEVE and what scripture teaches is different.
Really...please educate me....."saved".....(my 6th grade teacher taught me that ..."ed".... is past tense and thus history......I don't think that has changed) if, as you say we are ....saved.....not to be redacted, revised, modified, or otherwise changed, if that is the case then why does G-d pass judgement on our righteousness and award eternal salvation status or not plus award us the 5 crowns....or
not... after physical death...as The Bible teaches?. (Maybe you do not understand that there is a judgement after physical death..do you?).
That alone proves you do not understand scriptures.
OSAS...is a new age religion teaching since the moral and social revolution of the 1960's and is not scripture based. Show me any teachings, writings or other method of recordings prior to the 1960's era...of magnitude?

Hmmmmm? Can you show me the exact place where I said that "my Jesus cannot keep someone saved"??!! If you make an accusation you should be able to show where it came from.

Yes agreed. Discipleship is very important.
Walking in the truth is walking in love.
John defines love for us because he sees the importance of discipleship and does not want us to be confused.
This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. 2 John 6
The commandments are principles and precepts of Love.
Loving God and Loving our neighbor.
That is how we love God by obeying His commandment to love our neighbor.
If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 1 John 4:20

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
It is not JUDGEMENT to see if we deserve SALVATION. It is like the original Olympic style of Games, that Paul was so fond of. We can win the Laurel Wreath CROWNS like that those athletes WON. Then they would take that prize over to where their KING was seated, bow on one knee, take off his Crown, and SAY: "I won this for you my KING." Then he would cast that Crown at his KINGS FEET.

Crown of Glory

THOSE ARE OUR HEAVENLY REWARDS, AND SALVATION IS NOT A REWARD, IT IS A FREE GIFT OF GOD.

12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw—
13 each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done.
14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward.
15 If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.
