What is the difference between an exonym and an endonym?
What is the difference between an exonym and an endonym?
Exonym: geographical name for a place or group of people outside of a place... My niece lives in Jerusalem and people call her Yankee.
An endonym same thing but inside of a place... Here in America we call people that "wave" the confederate flag, drink, and spit tobacco a "redneck" ....
Now I be way off of my understanding but this game is open to Mae interpretation right...lol

Nice try but you are using nicknames. Exonyms and endonyms have to do with translation. Like we call Rome that way because that is the English exonym. If we lived in Rome, we would use the name Roma its endonym. The English call Germany its exonym they call themselves Deutschland its endonym. Got it?
