Oh! I beg to differ with you. The physical promise of land to Abraham, in Gen. 15, has everything to do with Israel. :)
That's fine, but you can't explain how GOD promising to give the land to Israel would give Abram confidence in GOD's promise, which was the whole purpose of the blood covenant.

No wonder we have the 12 tribes mentioned specifically in Revelation 7. "Lineage isn't God's 'fixation"" is another nonsensical statement. Please read and study the prophecy of Ezekiel before responding.
I'm guessing you're referring to how David's throne would always have a king but we weren't talking about that now were we clever claude?
And also lo and behold I "wasn't talking to you" to call my statement "nonsensical" is to be "nonsensical" yourself because it is written that God is no "respector to persons" and if you are insisting that God's fixation "is" lineage then you are either diluded or ignorant of how many times God has "chastened" people and even "whom" Jesus was sent to die for,not kings, or high seat people but rather "sinners" no matter their "lineage".

You remember that Abraham was still childless and in his old age. He asked God what can you give me?
Gen. 15:1-3 "After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. "

He is pointing out he has no heir apparent. Then God tells him about the many heirs he will have:

Gen. 15:4-6 "And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness." That is Israel, God is talking about. :cool:

I agree with that, except seed in verse 6 goes far beyond Israel don't you think?

If you had stopped here you would have been right on. There is a physical Israel existing today, and God knows where they are.

I would say no different then... There is a physical gentile existing today, and God knows where they are.

Twelve is a signified word as a metaphor used in parables to hide the spiritual meaning from the lost .

It is set aside to be used to indicate the "bride of Christ" the spiritual house of God made up of many lively stones in respect to all Old testament saints in Revelation 21 as gates to the city of Christ, his eternal bride . The tribe of Dan is missing to represent those who fallback in judgment .

The twelve apostles a remnant of the 25 listed in the new testament like tribes represepent all of the born again believers on this side of the cross with Judas missing, also a sign of rebellion to those who fall backward in judgment.

Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.Genesis 49:17

Like with Judas

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples. And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.
Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons. Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.John18: 1-6

Falling back or being slain in the Spirit is a phenoinmin used today by those who seek as after a sign in a false hope of confirming they do have the Holy Spirit but like tongues it confirms the opposite .

Jesus is the True Israel[ and us In Him]....God's covenant Son...He does what the nation failed to do;

ex4;
22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:
23 And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.

The nation was only a type...

3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the Lord, and my work with my God.
5 And now, saith the Lord that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, and my God shall be my strength.
6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
7 Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
8 Thus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

I would agree and add like all names that are used to describe a specific immutable attribute of God. God does have a name like us today needed to tell one from another .

Names had a meaning to them, just like Jacob usually named after or during birth ...Jacob, meaning one who literally grabs the heal of one to take advantage Used to describe when he was born, the second of the twins . Esau the first born, a word that means hairy. Israel means he who wrestles against man and God and overcomes being yoked with Christ. . Our victory made sure by Jesus, our Savior or Jehovah, our Mighty Savior.

144 000 from "lineage fixation" and a great multitude that no one could count from other nations.

This pretty much agree with the composition of the Church.

In Romans 9: it says this about the people of Israel: 4 the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption to sonship; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises. 5 Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, who is God over all, forever praised![a] Amen.

Paul then explains how sorrowful he is because the so many Jews reject Christ.

In Romans 11 Paul must have seen ahead to the people who would preach replacement theology because scripture says: 11 "I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: 3 “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me”[a]? 4 And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal. 5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace."

Replacement Theology teaches that the church has replaced Israel and that all the promises that were supposed to go to Israel now fall to the church. This is a complete lie, and I will provide scripture that shows that God has never forsaken Israel, and never will. You also may have noticed that I chose to publish this on May 14, the day Israel was reborn as a nation.

Scripture about God’s promise to preserve Israel forever

Genesis 13:14-15 --->

14 And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:

15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

Genesis 17:7 --->

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

2 Samuel 7:24 --->

For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, Lord, art become their God.

1 Kings 10:9 --->

Blessed be the Lord thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the Lord loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.

1 Chronicles 17:22 --->

For thy people Israel didst thou make thine own people for ever; and thou, Lord, becamest their God.

2 Chronicles 9:8 --->

Blessed be the Lord thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the Lord thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.

2 Chronicles 20:5-7 --->

5 And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court,

6 And said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?

7 Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?

Ezra 3:11 --->

And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the Lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

Psalm 28:9 --->

Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

Psalm 94:14 --->

For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

Psalm 105:8-11 --->

8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;

10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:

11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:

Psalm 125:1-2 --->

1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

Isaiah 60:21 --->

Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

Ezekiel 37:21-28 --->

21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

28 And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

Romans 11:1-2 --->

1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew...

And if you still choose to ignore scripture and believe that God has forsaken Israel because of their sin, check out these scriptures --->

Leviticus 26:44-45 --->

44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the Lord their God.

45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the Lord.

Ezekiel 36:17-32 --->

17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.

18 Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:

19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

20 And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the Lord, and are gone forth out of his land.

21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.

22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord God; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord God, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

Romans 11:25-27 --->

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

The physical things from the old testament are now spiritual in the new testament- including the laws and even the people. In the first chapter of John we see that Jesus came to His own people, they received Him not and crucified Him. So God took away their physical birthright. No longer can you be God's people by physical relation to Abraham. Both jew and gentile must be born again spiritually in order to be God's people (spiritual Israel)- which yes is Christ's church. .

There is only one way to salvation and that's through belief in Christ. If you don't believe in him you are neither part of Israel or the Church. You are lost. That applies to Jews, Europeans, Asians or any nationality you care to mention.

He came to that which was his own but his own did not receive him
Yet to all who who received him to those who believed in his name
he gave the right to be become children of God. Children born not
of natural descent nor of human decision or a husbands will, but born
of God.

It is about Abraham and the land he was going to give ONE PARTICULAR SEED "not this child. but one which comes from your own body"

1. They will be strangers in a strange land (400 years)
2. Their fathers will return (moses lead them from that strange land)

3. and a specific plot of land promised to them....

Gen 15: “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates— 19 the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, 20 the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, 21 the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”

Some people just will not get it.

Oh yes, it includes all the saved now and later. :)
Yes, But to whome was the land given? The church? ALL of Abrahams kids (Ishmeal and the many others he had) Edom?

or to abraham Issac and Jacob his 12 sons, and all of THEIR children

They never had a physical birthright into heaven. That is what Paul tried to explain in romans. and John explained quite clearly in John chapter 1.

The land promise concerning Israel has nothing to do with salvation of any person, JEW ORE GENTILE) it is a promise God axde to abraham himself

God does not break his promises. He did not break it when Isreal rebelled, however, he has punished them numerous times (Syria, Babylon, Rome) and they are still being punished, but as Paul said in rom 11. God is not done, There is still a remnant, and one day, they all will repent.

They did have a physical birthright into heaven. Revelation tells us 144,000 israélites were saved from the old testament-12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel.

The promised land (the land flowing with milk and honey) was a physical representation of spiritual heaven. Have you ever heard the hymn: "To Canaan's Land I'm on my way where the soul never dies."?

God did not break His promise. He told Abraham "All nations will be blessed through you." Because through Abraham's seed came Christ, and through Christ Gentiles were given the right to become children of God- children born not of natural decent or a husbands will (not physically a Jew, but spiritually a Jew).

Abraham is now our Father, and no longer their father, unless they get baptized into Christ just like everyone else. We are grafted into their vine, and they can be grafted back into their own vine- of which they had been kicked out for killing the Son of God- Whom the scriptures foretold would come.

God switching from physical to spiritual is not breaking His promise- Abraham still has children to out number the Sands on the shore, and the stars in the sky- which would be impossible if it did not include all nations.

If this is true, All OT jews will be in heaven, This is not true.

Revelation tells us 144,000 israélites were saved from the old testament- 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel.
This is a future prophesy where 144000 new jewish missionaries will be saved, and spread out to respread the gospel. this has nothing to do wiht the OT.

The promised land (the land flowing with milk and honey) was a physical representation of spiritual heaven. Have you ever heard the hymn: "To Canaan's Land I'm on my way where the soul never dies."?
God did not promise abraham and his descendents a spiritual land, he promised them a physical land, the land of canaan, Thus spiritual israel can not be the fulfillment.

God promised heaven to all people. jew and gentile in all ages, including the age of Israel (see Jonah and the great gentile city who repented at his teaching)

God did not break His promise. He told Abraham "All nations will be blessed through you." Because through Abraham's seed came Christ, and through Christ Gentiles were given the right to become children of God- children born not of natural decent or a husbands will (not physically a Jew, but spiritually a Jew).

And they were are have been, But that has nothign to do with the land God promised HIM AND HIS PEOPLE.

Abraham is now our Father, and no longer their father, unless they get baptized into Christ just like everyone else. We are grafted into their vine, and they can be grafted back into their own vine- of which they had been kicked out for killing the Son of God- Whom the scriptures foretold would come.
Abraham is the father of anyone who will be in heaven, And your right only God can baptise us into his family (Oh wait, your talking water baptism arent you? If you are!! :( Heresy!

God switching from physical to spiritual is not breaking His promise- Abraham still has children to out number the Sands on the shore, and the stars in the sky- which would be impossible if it did not include all nations.
God promised multiple times in the OT and Paul reiterated that promise, and revelations confirms them

1. Isreal will be scattered all over the earth due to her sin (fulfilled 70 AD)
2. Israel will be restored when the times of the gentile has been fulfilled, when she repents and reciever her messiah
3. Israel will be side by side with all gentile nations, and all of them will worship the king, whoever does not, God will withhold rain from them for 1 year.

sorry, But scripture does not support replacement theology
3.
