Did Jesus Have The Human Sinful Nature?

Jesus in the flesh has a soul, so he could have sinned if he wanted too, but he chose not too. So I don't think he had a sinful nature. He had to of been able to have been tempted and not give in, in order to pay the ransom for the human soul. If he would have had a sinful nature and fallen just as Adam did, he wouldn't have been able to pay the ransom, (his life).

Having the sinful nature does not mean Jesus had to give into it and sin.

Sinless nature can still be tempted...Jesus was tempted to make bread out of stones..go to the highest peak..jump off and have angels rescue him..he was tempted at His weakest moments on the things he needed the most..how often does that hold true of us? Satan doesnt waste any "arrows"..he waits until youre weak and goesbin for the "kill shot"

I came to that conclusion because Jesus' human nature gave way for Him to physically die.

But then he could not have been the Savior.

If all it took was sacrificing someone who had never sinned, why wouldn't God have sacrificed an infant? Jesus would not have had to be sent.

There is more to having a sin nature than committing sins...

We don't become sinful when we sin the first time, we are sinful because we were born that way.

I wouldn't call it a sinful nature. We have a sinful nature because we sin. Sometimes our thoughts are sinful. Or sometimes we tell a little lie to keep from hurting someones feeling. Because he lived by the spirit, just as Adam did in the beginning. People live by their souls. Believers are learning to live by the spirit, being taken from glory to glory.

Can you show a verse that says babies are automatically saved?

And please explain what you think this verse means:

1 Cor 7:
14) For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

Because any infant is not the incarnate Son of God. But we don't become sinners until we actually sin.

But that idea is not Biblical. We have a sinful nature because we are descendants of Adam. It is called original sin.

Why does that matter? Adam sinned, and became sinful, and passed that sinful nature to his progeny (everyone).

Mankind was created in the image of God. When Adam had children:

Gen 5:
3) And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
