And who was the genius that decided it is a forgery? And why should I give a deem what he thinks?
It wasn't just one "genius", and you don't have to give a "dam". I am just stating facts. Some of the pastoral epistles are the easiest to debunk. Tradition is the only thing that maintains their "validity". Historically, they have been proven to not have been written by Paul. By definition, that is a forgery.
These so-called scholars usually know less than nothing of truth. Most of them know facts but facts are not necessarily the truth. That being the case I really don't know why I should lean on them to tell me what's right and what's not. They learn lies and they spout lies. PROVE that its a forgery. Or...keep your truth to yourself?

Dude, you want me to go through the whole list of Scolars an sources and redact all the connections?

There are books and many free essays that go into very minute detail on these topics.

Take my reference and look it up for yourself, you will find ample evidence in light of my claim. Historians and other scholars have done all the leg work.

The only reason why they are not "facts" is because the church would be offended and we all know that the church is a conglomerate entity that protects its own self best interests.

Take my reference, look it up, read a few essays, maybe a book or 2 and then make your decision.

No way I can write a post. It would be a book.
So then what you are saying is you trust Youtube to give you the truth? Smart..Yup yup yup

Hahaha YouTube?

Know books and essays and lectures exist still right?

You probably have never even read all of romans, or even one single entire gospel, let alone the whole New Testament.

Oh yes, you are so eloquent. You must definitely be an author. I'm sure you know and have explanations for all of the "aparent" contradictions right?

Well Sunshine the contradictions you talk about ARE only apparent to people who try to read a spiritual book by using the intellect. The intellect is completely incapable of understanding things of the Spirit. There is your explanation... you're too smart for your own good.

The very same brain given to me by the creator to make sense of the squiggly lines we call letter that form words is the same brain I have to ignore when reading his said word?

Yes! Now you're catching on. You let the Spirit teach your spirit. Can you catch on to that concept? You are a spirit....Your brain is only good for deciding what is around you and deciding what your body should do about it anyway...Most of the things science has learned is wrong, most of the things they teach in schools from kindergarten to university are wrong...so listen to a good teacher for a change. What harm would learning the truth do you?

Making such remarks certainly does no credit to you. Address the actual issue instead of insulting the person.

However, I am in full agreement with your post #390. You have interpreted Scripture correctly. During worship men must uncover their heads, while Christian women must wear a head covering, and hide their hair (their glory).

No insult intended. Its a fact though, that your brain, my brain is not capable of understanding spirit things. That's the way it is. If you find the truth insulting, well stick to the fictitious.

So does that mean that all denominations are correct? Are they all guided by the spirit?

I guess the fact that the very first time I learned about Jesus was with my senses, prior to being "filled" with the Holy Spirit.

How is it possible to acknowledge and believe the very first claims you hear of the gospel prior to having the Holy Spirit if you need the Holy Spirit in the first place to testify to your spirit?

What about the fact that all of the leaders of the early church were all WEALTHY MEN? Why not allow a spirit filled peasant to hold a high position in the church?

Your audacity astounds me.

Well....if you think I'm simply being audacious there is no basis for an honest discussion. Is there?

Well 1 Timothy is like the leading scripture for this. It has been deemed a forgery among scholars, but of course, Christians don't care about facts or history, unless it is convenient for them.

when you call yourself seedz, no doubt you meant the ones you are planting regarding the failure of the Bible to actually be worth believing in?

fancy that

Precisely what part(s) do you doubt the historicity of? And precisely what sources that were used to comprise the canon are sketchy at best concerning the resurrection?
The whole new testament, and the old testament.
so we see what ostrich asks of seedz and seedz answers that the entire Bible is sketchy

you say you are a Christian, but you don't really believe and have been very busy trying to spread that gospel

please do not tell me you are a believer

you obviously are not

the above from the
If you attend a Church and they are preaching un-biblical doctrine, how do you respond?

thread

you are not having an honest discussion with this dude to begin with

I can't find one post where he actually supports anything in scripture

his contributions consist of sowing seeds of unbelief

I wish people would do a little research when someone makes the kinds of comments he is making

it's easy to do...check all the posts in different threads. from there, it is relatively easy to begin to understand what a person believes

this dude, seedz, does not believe very much

all the leaders of the early church were wealthy men?

who told you that? your senses...?

a person filled with the Holy Spirit of God does not go about condemning the veracity of the Bible nor do they say the Bible is filled with contradictions

ALL Christians have doubts...at one time or another and prob some people every day...but that is not what is going on with you

your apparent desire is to cause EVERYONE to have doubts all the time

whatever Jesus you say you believe in, is not the Jesus Christians here believe in

and I am not interested in your burning wit and self congratulatory style of intellectual gobble de gook

This is false. All you have to do is follow the narrative in Genesis 3.

Eve sinned first, then caused Adam to sin. Absolutely no one can deny this.

Eve knew God's commandment as much as Adam did, but she CHOSE TO misrepresent it to herself and to the Devil. Therefore God held her accountable, even though it was Adam's sin which brought a curse upon humanity and creation.

And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? (Gen 3:13).

The real question now is why you are promoting a false narrative, since you simply cannot accept what God has said about Eve and about women. But no one has the right or the authority to change what is stated in Scripture.

oh I truly just love this...sorry...catching up on this thread

what do I love? this:

Eve sinned first, then caused Adam to sin. Absolutely no one can deny this.
tell you what. if Eve CAUSED Adam to sin, then the serpent CAUSED Eve to sin

voila! the devil made me do it

only problem with that (logical fallacy but so appealing) is that God had other conclusions and for some reason, put the blame on Mr not Mrs

but...we here revealed again the attitude of blame it all on women and wave the Bible like crazy while doing so

You have just attacked the Word of God. So much for your credibility. And perhaps Scripture means nothing to you.

you know, I think a better name you could have chosen for yourself would have been Moses

since you are all about the law while saying you are not

when I say law, I don't mean God's law. I mean you have decided you are the law for anyone who disagrees with you and really, you think someone 'attacked' the Bible?

the thing is though, Moses was a very humble man

Well, you accused me of getting my data from YouTube. Are you sure you are apt for an honest convo?
when you call yourself seedz, no doubt you meant the ones you are planting regarding the failure of the Bible to actually be worth believing in?

Well, isn't the delivery method rather inefficient?

Why was the Bible written in Greek when it should have been Aramaic?

Why are there almost no peasant leaders in the church history other than originals?
