It's a command.


That's why it's called a commandment.


37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40


If it was an option, then it would be called the first and great "option".

Yes I understand obey, you may stop your gloating now if you please it is a sin. To say I teach people to disobey the gospel is a complete lie such as is your fake gospel. You are breaking God's commandment.

You do love to twist peoples words and the gospel, try being honest for once in your life.

even our good deeds are like filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6)
Proverbs 12:10 - even the kindest act of man is cruel

Only those who obey the Gospel will be saved.

The more you continue to lie and twist the scriptures, the more your self deception will grow.


Please just repent and submit yourself to God, which means to humble yourself and obey Him.

I believe you're on the right track, many folks here say you must obey God before you can be saved. The Bible says we are born dead in our sins so how can a spiritually dead person be obedient. I think you got it right saying that obedience is the evidence of salvation. When a person is saved, only then can the Holy Spirit work in them so they become obedient

Follow your own rule. The Bible does not say the oil in their lamps was the Holy Spirit. It tells us they went out to buy the oil. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. (Mat 25:10 KJV)

You cannot buy the Holy Spirit! for crying out loud. And because they were not ready the door was shut. They were shut out of heaven. They were Shut Out.
