Jesus told her “go and sin no more”.

That’s what the scripture says.

No amount of “explaining away” what Jesus said will change that fact.

JPT

Oh, so you one that thinks he does not sin?

1 Peter 2:13-17 (NKJV)
13 Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme,
14 or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.
15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men--
16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.
17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

POSTED SPEED LIMITS IS A ORDINANCE OF MAN, therefore you are SINNING every time you break the posted speed limit, even if you do it accidentally.

If he was born again he would certainly not be lost. I don't blame the guy if he were to hate them. To me, that would be a normal reaction. The slime ball and the wife that ran off with him are the ones in need of forgiveness, not the poor guy who lost his wife.
I didn’t say the poor guy needs forgiveness.

I said the guy began to hate and have unforgiveness towards his wife and the other man and died that way.

Do you understand ?

Do you understand that no person who hates has eternal life?

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15

My statement is biblical.

If a born again Christian has his wife run off with another Church member, and begins to hate them, and becomes bitter and dies in unforgiveness, then he will be lost.

JPT

32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ 34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.

35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”
Matthew 18:32-35

You are trying to explain away these simple words.

Go and sin no more.

You tried to add your own spin on this command so that it means something else.

JPT

no you tried to add to it

as if He was to say

"i do not condemn you .. now go and sin no more

......

......

or else i will condemn you"

when in context He knowing she was guilty and having not condemned her (she knows He is Lord) He gave righteous instruction

this isnt some warning

this is loving leadership

You err not knowing the scriptures.

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8

OK, the slime ball and the cheating wife get a pass. It would take quite a long time for that poor husband to not hate them. God understands this. This is not something that's going to happen immediately but rather will most likely take months and years.

If they repent they will be forgiven.

No one gets a free pass.

God is impartial.

He loves us all.

However the rules apply to all as well, because is just.

At the proverbial end of the Day, here are those who will receive eternal life.

  • eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;

God who “will render to each one according to his deeds”:
eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;
but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, Romans 2:6-8

It does not get any plainer..........Our righteous works have ZERO to do with Salvation!

English Standard Version
he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

Berean Study Bible
He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

Berean Literal Bible
He saved us, not by works in righteousness that we did, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

New American Standard Bible
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

King James Bible
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
True. But that doesn't mean there's zero chance all Christians shall agree.
That's the next hurdle for the church. Not really next as in new. Rather, next as in, when we are to be united in the holy spirit and Christ as the faithful few, there arrives division in the discourse that operates as the doctrines of man.

IF YOU CANNOT SEE THAT NOT DOING GOD's WILL, and NOT subumitting to every ordinance of Man,

IS SIN.

YOU ARE HOPELESS.

So if man’s ordinance says to not talk about Jesus then we are to obey that ordinance?

If mans ordinace says, as a ordained minister, you have to marry a homosexual couple then we have to obey that ordinance?

So How COME you are PROTESTING OBEYING THE SPEED LAWS so much?
Could I have HIT ON YOUR FAVORITE SIN?
LOOK AT HOW YOU ARE TRYING NOT TO OBEY THE SPEED LAWS?
I mean GOD GAVE US A TOOL TO OBEY THE SPEED LAWS, in my car it is call SPEED CONTROL.
You say you OBEY GOD, but it appears to ALL OF US, that your RIGHT FOOT IS NOT EVEN SAVED.

No, when man creates an ORDINANCE to Out Laws Christianity, then WE DO WHAT HE SAYS, and HE SAYS WE ARE TO OBEY EVERY ORDINANCE FOR THE LORDS SAKE, so as NOT to hinder our Witness; AND HE EVEN ADDED THAT THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD.

Now, If you do not LIKE to do what GOD SAYS, then maybe you can take a coupon cutter and cut that verse out of the BIBLE? OH MY, then you run into the verses that SAY YOU MUST NOT SUBTRACT FROM THE WORK OF GOD. While I am at it, YOU REALLY WILL NOT LIKE THESE SCRIPTURE, especially if you are a LIBERAL:

Romans 13:1-7 (HCSB)
1 Everyone must submit to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist are instituted by God.
2 So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have its approval.
4 For government is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, because it does not carry the sword for no reason. For government is God’s servant, an avenger that brings wrath on the one who does wrong.
5 Therefore, you must submit, not only because of wrath, but also because of your conscience.
6 And for this reason you pay taxes, since the ⌊authorities⌋ are God’s public servants, continually attending to these tasks.
7 Pay your obligations to everyone: taxes to those you owe taxes, tolls to those you owe tolls, respect to those you owe respect, and honor to those you owe honor.

That means, if your are in this Country, you are to SUBMIT TO PRESIDENT TRUMP as the AUTHORITY PLACED OVER YOU.

MAYBE, I found another weakness. Are you ready to ADMIT you are a SINNER like the REST OF US ? ? ?

then compare their sin to works of God....

wow i just had a talk about this flawed self righteous way of thinking yesterday
i just argued in real life for maybe 30 minutes with someone trying to justify doing evil so good may come

i believed this man has said some strange things in the past i questioned

"well i can always ask for forgiveness after hahaha"

or
"im good so long as i repent"

but today i heard he was going to attack someone who stole from him after work....

so i went to speak with him

and after he tried maybe 10 ways to justify bringing forth wrath

he said

"you dont believe God works through people to do his work? what about the guy He sent to cali to murder all those homos"

i then remind Him Gods work doesnt involve spite or malice

or grudges of men

or the wrath of men

and that lost man who killed them other lost folk was not doing Gods work by sinning

we are not to do evil so that good may come

he quickly then stated "you dont think God has ever killed anyone to remove sin"

he then wouldnt let me get another word out and both of us were talking over eachother until he put his headphones in (passively telling me to walk away from his station)

so i walked away....

but now im left feeling very sad

and disappointed.....

anyways..... this is making me wonder

how many people who say they are believers.... call their works "good" while doing evil and then say they do what they do in Jesus name

The end justifies the means <---this fallacy permeates churches, individuals and families all over the world...as a matter of fact I was raked over the coals on this site by numerous people who tried to justify breaking the law to justify doing something good....and then tried to compare it to the disciples being beaten and commanded to not speak in the name of JESUS <---apples to oranges!

Just so everyone knows, this proves this guy is watering down the law to fit his own fleshly desires, and refuses to even acknowledge his own sin, i am begining to think he needs prayer, because he will. Ot listen to a word any of you say
