all my divorced christian friends tell me they thought they were miserable alone, they then got married, and after the pink cloud flew away, they were miserable and alone with a spouse.

Hmmmm...I am not Married yet but at my age now I've witnessed many broken, lonely, unhappy marriages already.... so I will just speak for what I've observed throughout my 40 years of excistence.

If you have gotten married for the wrong reasons like you are lonely, because of pressure from the people around you,to fulfil your sexual appetite Expect that when a crisis hits and your marriage is shaken...you will end up lonelier, grumpier, unsatisfied and very resentful...

Let's always remember, know yourself first...learn to be happy being single first before you explore the heart of someone's else...because marriage is a lot of work... it is not always happy days :) it is not always what you can get from your spouse but what you can give(giving more) ...it is coming home and living under the same roof with someone you choose to be with for the rest of your life no matter how smelly 😄 how irritating how unlovable the person who opens the door for you when you come home 😄 scary yeah? but that's it if you want to have a wonderful happy and till your last breath marriage.

Just don’t get married, it seems rather an easy solution to your problem.

I'm a long time married, 19 years. I think most marriages go through season's. We have our moments of indifference but we also have blissful family moments and alone time.

You both have to give and take and willing to admit mistakes. My husband and I aren't always the best at communicating but we try. We definitely need to keep improving on that. But I honestly don't want to live my life without him. I do think God put us together and we will stay that way, I hope. 😁

ALL things are possible with God. my friend met his wife at the seminary, and GOD told him to marry her. i am kinda wondering if, well, never mind. but he told me he was as sure that GOD TOLD HIM to marry his wife as he was about his salvation. they went on a, like missionary training seminar, less than a year later, and she told the coordinator(it was a husband wife missionary conference), that she did not want to witness with him. can you believe that?

Yeah. A lot of people are guided by fickle feelings, their dumb emotions, and their lying heart.

I’m talking to you, Mama’s Boy. I never heard of someone being severely blessed. I suppose it is like a genie giving you your wish, and the wish going awry?

Man I feel like a bit of an outcast here, but I absolutely adore my wife, and I am SO thankful to God for her everyday. I know this sounds a bit "brand new couple" and "fairy tale-ish", but it was not at all. I have been with my wife for almost 21 years (in December) and am 38 years old. We met in high school and started going out in 1997. Man we have grown up together our whole lives. By no stretch of the imagination was it perfect, but by the power and will of God we loved each other and stayed together. We have been nonbelievers together, she was saved while I was an atheist, she was saved while I was a false Christian, and after many struggles, test, heartaches, children, jail time, fights, and everything life dealt us, And by His glorious hand we are both now reborn believers in our Lord Jesus Christ together, and I could not imagine my life without this woman next to me through it at all. I thank God for every second he blesses me with her, because we never know when it will be our last. I know He has a plan for each one of us, and they are all very different, but I pray that everyone that seeks a partner to spend their life with is blessed the way He has blessed me with my wife.

1)
Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.

Proverbs 21:9

2)
God hates divorce.
Malachi 2:16

Solution:

"To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single, as I am. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion."
1 Cor 7:8

There's no need for insults.. Tommy asked a valid question. After all, you say you're straight, but don't like women. That is NOT normal for a straight guy.
