I must have gotten old before I was a kid. I have always been ok with not having a life. It's more peaceful, and peace is a rare commodity these days.

true story'

a couple of days ago, hub went down to the neighbors to feed their animals
while they're out of town and when he got back and was taking off his shoes,
one was a vel-crow tennis shoe and the other was a lace-up tennis shoe...

just waiting for the next bomb to fall!!! smiles and laughter ensued...

When I found out what snack meant, I told my students to tell boys “I’m not a snack, I’m a whole meal”. I think it is another way to treat girls as disposable, fun time toys and I don’t really like the terminology (my inner feminist is coming out in this post).

Maybe I’m just a grumpy, old lady.
