No, I would be happy if the dog owners would train their dogs properly. I have an Australian Shepherd. He used to run cars. Now he does not because I trained my dog.

Also, don't even get me started on what certain people's posts remind me of...

Go ahead, we are big boys and girls. I am a big girl literally and metaphorically. Give it your best shot, don’t be coy.

My nieces mom says formala (which isn't even a word) instead of formula. My Nanny says afamist (atheist) , castick, (casket) , oxshagen (oxygen), vomick (vomit) along with many other mispronounced words. She's not some simple minded old lady either, she was an ICU nurse for 30 years. She just talks funny now that she's older.

She's you nanny? She watches your kids? Aren't you afraid they will pick that up and talk funny also?

@Deade

I can't think of an example from my own experience now. My co worker was called at the principal's office because his daughter was annoyed at her classmate that she punched him. When asked why she did it, she said "because he has dark skin". Lol! Is that reason enough?

Sometimes the face has nothing to do with it. Some are even good looking. Just can't explain what makes them annoying. Maybe the energy they radiate.
I was being facetious.

Slant pun intended. You said they have annoying faces for no reason, so I was being silly by saying they have annoying faces because they were born with those faces.

I find myself hilariously funny, unfortunately, no one else does. :sneaky:

When you're at the theatre and people are munching on popcorn and soda like nobody's business! Sometimes I can't even hear the movie because they eat so loudly. The sounds are gross.

What is worse is when they look at their phones and you see the light in the theater. 😟

Another annoyance: when I worked for the chiropractor, a potential patient would say, “I have (insurance company). How much is it gonna be?”

And yet I had not verified their benefits. -_-

The National Grammaticist Party

It seems the grammar Nazis are all in one thread... where we can keep an eye on them.

Ya know, Shakespeare just wrote however he pleased.
I'm no Shakespeare, but I still consider that wisdom to live by.

And... I start sentences with conjunctions, put commas wherever I please, and have sentences that run on for days and days before abruptly ending with prepositions.

It's a wonderful carefree life.

I breathe the glorious air of freedom... the air of grammar liberation!

Non native English speakers correcting me whenever I’m speaking incorrectly according to them.

Sometimes I’m just thinking...why don’t they realize that English comes in 57 (leastways) varieties, and not only the one they learned in school...lol.
